Going through rough time, on off for 3 months during this time OH left and got someone pregnant, strained our relationship. I decided maybe it could work?
We have a beautiful 14 month old son. 4 days ago OH left once again over a petty argument and said it was for the best bla bla bla.. He's been here everyday for a few hours just won't stay here.. I have no family or nothing to turn to. I'm so down in the dumps as soon as the baby goes to sleep.. I don't need trolls to say I was silly for letting him back when he's got someone else pregnant, but I do genuinely love him.

You are teaching your kids some awful lessons here

Are you scared of some undefinable yet awful thing that would happen if you said No?

If you can't yet say No (practise on your own saying it out loud), at least do not ask him to stay for another cuppa.

You don't have a partner, you have an alley-cat. You need to find your inner tiger and tell him to fuck off once and for all.

Thanks for your opinion anyfuker.. However my child sees none of this because he goes to bed, so if you don't know please don't comment. I might be a walk over but my child will never see me hurt/upset.

I am sure your child is very well looked after. But you are not being the best mother you can be while you let this nob head yank your strings repeatedly, give him money that would be better spent on you or the baby and perform servile tasks in an effort to make him stay

All this headspace would be better utilised making a new life for you and your child

I get what your saying and the baby won't go without, the baby isn't bothered by any of it. Doesn't even say dad unless he is here even then he just wants me.. And that's not me being bitter that's the truth, I get what your saying and I think today I'll just once and for all tell him I'm no longer available for the likes of someone coming and going as they please. The baby is only getting older

At the end of the day he's never done a night shift/ morning duty for the baby who can be really unwell with his chest and iv had plenty of sleepless nights on the sofa but he won't give up one night or have him in the day for me to rest while I stay up all night so makes no odds if he's here or not really

Then keep him away. A partner should enhance your life. He just makes your life harder. You can't afford that wasted emotional energy when you have a child to raise.

Why is he coming later ? He foesn't offer any support so tell him to keep the fuck away

Stop being so passive. Do you literally sit and wait on your sofa, kettle on, lippy applied, home made cake on a plate for His Majesty to show up ?

Go out. Don't answer the door. Invite friends round. Anything but make yourself so pitifully available.

Agreed! I wouldn't let him through the door! You don't need to give him anything. When you stop being his doormat he'll soon get the hint.
At the moment you're simply lying down and letting him wipe his feet on you!

Well we're in today, if he knows in in hell cause a scene outside lol it's more than it's worth so I'll just say what's on my mind and tell him that he's on his own two feet from now on

And no I get on with house work and sorting the baby out. Like last night he didn't turn up by the time the baby went to bed I had tea time dishes to do I went to bed myself. I don't sit and wait and get dolled up. I'm as I come if my make ups on like it is today because we've been out already then it's fine it it's not then I'm not bothered ! I don't make effort because I know he'll be here because I don't care what he thinks

Let him create a disturbance if he wants to then call the police.

Stop making excuses
