"Iv asked my doctor for medication advice but he won't give me any as he says there is no real proof they don't affect babies brain and development."

Your doctor is wrong. You need to see another GP for a second opinion and/or insist on a referral to a perinatal psychiatrist. They are the experts and can prescribe drugs that are safe in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

What type of therapy have you been referred for, is it CBT or something else? I just ask because CBT can be very helpful and there can be shorter waiting lists. Look up IAPT services in your area.

You could also see if there are any non-NHS counselling services that are available and free or low cost. For example are there any local charities that offer mental health support?

Your GP is wrong. There are huge differences in the way different antidepressants are processed by the body/transfer into breast milk. Prozac, for example goes right through and thus can build up (although there are really big inter-person differences.) sertraline on the other hand is found only in tiny tiny quantities and thus is regarded as one of the safer options for a breastfeeding mother.

I was going to reply and say that it's compatible sex drives that are successful. As long as you're happy with the same amount it's ok whatever that amount is.

Then I read the rest of your posts... You have a two month old baby ffs! Your Dh needs to back off and make an appointment with his hand. Two months! Good god we were both hollow eyed zombies at that point. He needs to realise that the more he pesters the more you'll be put off.

Brevity is the soul of wit. Better a witty fool than a foolish wit. The course of true love never did run smooth. There is no darkness but ignorance. There is a tide in the affairs of men, Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries.
