If you were able to build a 'good husband' what qualities would you include?

Basically ive been wondering what it is that makes a good husband.

I honestly think DH is a good husband. A great dad. I genuinely would reconstruct another one of him with minor tweaks:-
Version 2.0 would put his stuff away always rather than leaving it til he has a Big Tidy
2.0 would clean the bathroom
2.0 wpuld drive

Thats it!

Honesty, integrity,

Yes, if he can fake those two he'll be a hit with the ladies.

Personality
*Has a long fuse
*Patient and kind, but not a doormat
*Not a Disney Dad
*No addictions or obsessions
*A good communicator, so he can tell me if there's something wrong, and is an active listener if I'm telling him something's wrong.
*Appreciates me and what I do
*Doesn't consider doing housework as helping me.
*Likes to please me sexually
*Never says anything hurtfull, especially followed by "I was only joking".
*Eats healthily most of the time
*Considers exercise important

Physically. Yes I'm sexually very visually stimulated to it's important to me...
*Idris Elba sums it up...over 5'10" tall, dark skin and hair, athletic, nice face...but Jai Courtney's lovely too
*Average sized penis...big looks great but can be a problem practically.
*An interest in taking care of his appearance but not to the point of vanity or obsession.

Ah, had I only had such a list 33 years ago, along with the resolution to stick to it. XH wouldn't have made it to Date 1. Mind you he did manage to fake some of the qualities.

Ruth I was actually describing my new partner Wink

I think you place emphasis based on life experience as you move in time.

But big hands uff they've always held appeal. Smile

My list would be weird, I adore the bones of my DH but he kinda breaks the mould. Smile

If you love him enough, the not so great traits are just part of him and what you signed up for - just as he will put up with your less than desirable qualities. All the good stuff is a bonus.

Personally, my husband has ruined me by being ridiculously good in bed. I never understood what all the fuss was about until I met him.
