DH has JUST come in from being out since 1.30, absolutely out of his tree, abusive and cocky etc and throwing a paddy cos I won't let him sleep in our bed (because he pisses it), he has no fallen in a drunken slumber on the sofa and I face the task of dragging him off the sofa onto the floor as I won't have him on our new sofa.

I don't want to go to bed in case he decides to cook something or incase he comes up stairs (he couldn't get up our back 3 steps earlier) and falls through one of the kids bedroom doors.

Sooooooooooooo pissed off.

Could you perhaps arrange for him to get the gift of a small garden shed for times such as these, dear?

He really shouldn't be troubling you with his drunken mumblings and dampened trousers.

TyrNannyOgg · 11/11/2006 22:35

If he will piss himself anyway, strap a belt around his ankles to stop him wandering about.

Radley · 11/11/2006 22:55

My best mate has just rung saying i can go stay with him.

TyrNannyOgg · 11/11/2006 22:56

Will you take the kids with you? Sounds like a v good mate!

Radley · 11/11/2006 22:58

Oh yes, my best mate adores my kids and them him. I don't know yet, i'm so confused and upset.

TyrNannyOgg · 11/11/2006 23:00

dO GO, YOU WILL SLEEP SO MUCH BETTER IF YOU AREN'T WORRYING ABOUT THAT KNOB ALL NIGHT.

Opps

Radley · 11/11/2006 23:03

Thing is, I have to wake the kids and then worry that he won't burn the house down

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 11/11/2006 23:03

He's so drunk he pisses himself?

WTF?!

That's whacked!

Rhubarb · 11/11/2006 23:06

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO!

TyrNannyOgg · 11/11/2006 23:08

Switch the gas and electric off before you leave, or unplug the cooker. If he is together enogh to fix it, he will be together enough to cook.

You cannot sit up all night, that's just so unfair.

Radley · 11/11/2006 23:08

Rhubarb ?????????????????????????????????????

OP posts:
LoveMyGirls · 11/11/2006 23:09

i would go, he needs a lesson and u need to chill.

expatinscotland · 11/11/2006 23:09

Abusive and cocky, now passed out and wetting himself.

And you think he'd notice if you dragged him into the garage to sleep it off?

Rhubarb · 11/11/2006 23:10

Wot? Oh, I guess I should've read the OP then eh? Just saying hello!

Balls! Sorry!

theUrbanDryad · 12/11/2006 09:42

radley - how's it going? did you go to your mate's in the end?

Judy1234 · 12/11/2006 09:50

My poor father has to wear incontinence pads. You need to buy a stock of these to strap on your husband for these occasions. Subscription to AA might help too.

vitomum · 12/11/2006 09:52

hope you are OK radley. saw your other thread too and sound like this has been going on for a while and you are at the end of your tether

Radley · 12/11/2006 10:36

I did go to my mates, ended up having a giggle with him and his house mates for a couple of hours, got home about 3am as I didn't want to leave the kids really, more worried about them than him. Felt better for a having a couple hours out of the house though.

moondog · 12/11/2006 11:08

Radley, you were complaining about him a day or so ago weren't you?
He sounds repulsive.
I'd call it a day if it was my dh.

Starrmum · 12/11/2006 11:18

Sorry - but what did you do with your kids?! Surely you didn't leave them at home with your dh?!

it sounds like she did though - r u sure that was wise Radley? - sometimes what we think is teaching our dh's a lesson can come back to bite us in the bum! Be careful - if he was so drunk he could've done ne thing to the kids, and the guilt would've been unimaginable. Why not double lock the door so he doesn't get near you or your kids?

NappiesGalore · 12/11/2006 12:29

double lock the door? id change the locks personally. or move.
not my idea of a relationship.

aweebitgross · 12/11/2006 12:31

Why are you still with this guy? He sounds like a total waste of space Getting so drunk he pisses himself... ffs..but him a pack of pampers and let him get on with it!!

Radley · 12/11/2006 13:00

I didn't leave them on their own with him, my next door neighbour came round and she slept in dd1's bed whilst the dd's topped and tailed.
