Would you forgive me?

I became friends with a girl that I bumped into on the street once(she was a famous model and is now a writer). We were good friends for years but when I introduced her to my future husband, it was like hate at first site. She said he looked like bad news and he said she was a lesbian(not true). Anyway, after a few months of arguing about my friendship with her, he ordered me to call her and tell her not to contact me again. I have not spoken to her for four years now and am finally rid of the monster. I have tried to contact her but she has moved to another country. I sent an e-mail to her agent but have heard nothing. Would you forgive me if you were her? I truly regret making that phone call.

I'd forgive you.

hi expat
I haven't tried getting it in the UK yet, got a couple of bottles in france last summer. You should be able to order it though don't you think? So you liked it too then? Good to hear!! It's not flash or anything but it's great stuff

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 11:46

It's terrific, Lily!

In fact, the famous model Cindy Crawford uses it.

It's got cult status in the US.

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 11:52

well if it's good enough for Cindy....
I love my dermatologist!!!!!

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 11:55

I want your dermatologist AND NomdePlume's washing machine.

I'll take JK Rowling's bank account, too.

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 11:59

she's good, but she took me by surprise when I went to see her as I only wanted her to check my face, and I ended up in my bra and knickers while she checked all my moles!!! She told me next summer she'll have a great piece of software that memorises all your moles and can spot any differences from one time to the next, that'll be great for me. Must remember to wear best undies for that then

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 12:01

OMG, I'd have been so embarrassed by the state of my knickers and bra!

But I could use some help w/my face.

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 12:11

I was
I had my periods and had unwisely put on my comfy greying knickers on!!! she must have thought living in britain had lowered my standards of pretty matching undies

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 12:20

But, that is good in a way b/c that is the time when the skin is at its worst and she could tell best what to do.

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 12:29

true, and she told me I had perfect skin!! but also that I have redhair skin type (have very dark hair and green eyes), and must always wear sun screen and wear a t-shirt on the beach (not sure about that......)
well worth the money!

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 12:39

DD1 already uses a moisturiser . She had a chapped area on her chin, so I started putting her Infant Starflower Cream on it, and sometimes she gets chapped cheeks in winter.

She calls it her 'night cream' and rubs it into her skin before bed, after brushing her teeth and long hair.

See, it's never too early to instill good habits!

TheDivineLiliLaTigresse · 02/11/2006 12:42

lol @ 'night cream', that's the way to go!!!

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 12:43

She's a wee madam. She's getting her own play dressing table for Xmas, so hopefully she'll be less interested in raiding mine.

Doubt it, tho.

We loved Mama's dressing table when we were girls.

CURSEOFTHElazyMUMMY · 02/11/2006 13:35

back to the OP. I would forgive you.

I really don't know why anybody feels the need to so openly diss another poster. Even if you think that a post is a "load of cobblers" why be so mean as to go on the thread and say so. Just ignore it, what harm is it doing you?????

mummypoo · 02/11/2006 13:53

Completely agree with Curseofthelazymummy. This is why I hardly ever post on here. I really don't like the bitchiness.

By the way, I'd forgive you wheels - if it was that good a friendship she'll be pleased to hear from you.

expatinscotland · 02/11/2006 14:07

vipers

CURSEOFTHElazyMUMMY · 02/11/2006 14:27

expat - are you suggesting that I am perhaps over-reacting?
