Twiglett · 21/09/2006 17:20

I am surprised by how many shitty men there are out there to be often

have come across tales of 3 in the last few days

I really don't get it .. DH is so good .. he niggles me .. but really .. I don't recognise him in some of the actions of his peers

beckybrastraps · 21/09/2006 17:20

I do find that if I'm hacked off with dh, MN does help to put it in some perspective.

londonlady · 21/09/2006 17:20

I agree which is why I've been hankering after my old friend.

Twiglett · 21/09/2006 17:20

noddyholder · 21/09/2006 17:21

Yes and foghornleghorn is struggling with hers at the moment.

But lots of us have lovely DHs and no one hears about it cos we don't need advice very often with them.

But it does make you wonder to yourself sometimes doesn't it?

LadyTophamHatt · 21/09/2006 17:31

mine hasn't been my favourite person today.

I told him that he come home in a strange mood but appaarently he hasn't.

I must be imagining it then....

You know as soon as they walk through the door you can tell there something wrong or at least something on their mind, well thats what I felt today.
He says I'm wrong, even though his whole manner was differmet to his usual self.
He hates it when I say stuff like that though, thinks body language and being able to read facial expressions that say something different to the words coming out of his mouth is all bollocks.

Can I delete today and start again tomorrow??

LadyTophamHatt · 21/09/2006 17:32

"I told him that he come home in a strange mood but appaarently he hasn't"

came not come

codwiggle · 21/09/2006 17:33

OP posts:
PinkTulips · 21/09/2006 17:34

grrr LTH, my dp does that and it winds me up. wakes up in a foul mood but if i ask him he growls 'theres nothing wrong with me' and accuses me of putting him in a bad mood by asking

YeahBut · 21/09/2006 17:35

Completely agree, Cod. Am constantly amazed at what some mumsnetters live with. And very too, expecially when there are such lovely men out there.

FoghornLeghorn · 21/09/2006 17:35

It would be nice to have threads about how good some DH's are though - I'd like to be able to start one myself but would be lying atm

WelshBoris · 21/09/2006 17:35

BUt we only hear the wives side of things

For all we know there are loads of cheating wives on here, all getting their end away in bingo or battering their husbands with irons ala Little Mo

YeahBut · 21/09/2006 17:36

especially

YeahBut · 21/09/2006 17:36

FL

anorak · 21/09/2006 17:37

Most of us with lovely DHs I think don't like to go on about it too much.

Worried it might seem like crowing in the face of mumsnetters not so lucky.

codwiggle · 21/09/2006 17:37

yes i do think some of the mums are unreasonable
but liek nuttys tosser dp who does NOthign all day!

OP posts:
FoghornLeghorn · 21/09/2006 17:38

I wouldn't think you were crowing Anorak, although some might.
I'd personally like to hear how great some of them are - I could print the threads off and leave around the house for DH

codwiggle · 21/09/2006 17:39

no id never crow
pride etc

liek those mners who reckon their dhs never look at any rude pics ever even in a hotel a lone.
