Does anyone want to be my friend?

Pre DC I had loads of friends. I moved away when DC1 was born, which was nearly 3 years ago. I'm so lonely and would love a friend. I feel so pathetic writing that but sometimes i go days without speaking to anyone, (not counting DP) it's upsets me knowing I don't have anyone.

Hissy, frogmore6 and redfocus - I am in Surrey but not far from the Hampshire border - about 30 mins from Basingstoke (and I have 2 dogs!)

Do you think we should meet up? I have a DS away at school (currently now at home for holidays), but I love meeting new people...and I'm lonely too .

opalsandsilver I aM west Sussex too. I moved two months ago and have no local friends yet.

It's great and you can join like-minded people to have coffee with or go dog walking with etc all in your area.

If there are no meetup groups established near you, you can always start one so that you get to meet people that want to do the same things as you do.
