So confused today I noticed my DH filthy work fleece so popped it in the wash like a good little wife. When the washing machine had finished I pulled it out and discovered a pair of red woman's knickers.
On closer inspection they are from H&M and swimwear.

I text DH asking if he had anything to tell me. He was confused so I sent him a photo of the knickers.

His reply
Found what where?
'I have no idea what's in or on my fleece cos it's been in the van for months in shit. Don't imagine it's got women's knickers or lipstick in it, certainly don't think it smells of perfume, and there's no way there's a receipt for a whorehouse or condoms in there, so don't know what you've found'

After I sent the photo he replied:

'Can't see the picture good, but if they've got a little metal badge on the back that says HOM they were a pair of trunks I've had for years. No idea how they got there cos they were in the boxes in the dining room.'

Now they are swim wear but most certainly woman's and I've never know him to wear swimming trunks ever!
He seems genuinely surprised and not at all worried that he might have been caught out about something.

I just want the truth. Our marriage has been through a lot over the last year I lost our DC in pregancy and can't seem to get pregant again.
I could understand an indiscretion but I need him to be honest.
On the other hand I have no reason to suspect anything but I feel naive for believing him.

I need some advice am I being OTT? Unfair?

He now busy with work so I have to wait till tonight to speak to him.

Glad to hear it, and yes you did say further down that you believed him but could see how it would look from the other side of the screen, I forgot that, sorry

Now, you have made us all reply, and it was such hard work. We demand a picture of him modelling them in return!

missbopeep · 26/07/2013 17:00

But you said his tackle wouldn't fit in them and they were ladies.....Confused

AnyFucker · 26/07/2013 17:21

all very strange and mysterious....

figrus · 26/07/2013 17:28

Glad you got that sorted.

If he can't lie, that must be why his ex brings him clothes shopping. 'does my bum look big in this?' 'yes dear'.

CheeseFondueRocks · 26/07/2013 17:35

BUT WHERE DID HIS BALLS GO???????

CajaDeLaMemoria · 26/07/2013 17:53

The thing for that made me suspicious was his immediate excuse for women's underwear, even before you sent the photo.

stelth well he did offer to try them on but he would run a mile of I got out the camera. Grin

cheese I asked him that too he said they sit up front rather than under so you don't really need the guset.

I'm regretting turning down his offer to model them. Maybe I should suggest a nice swim this week maybe he will wear them and I can check out where the balls fall....

figrus yip pretty much so "oh no that's awful I can see your back flab...." he won't stroke your ego but you will come away wearing something that looks good on you.

He's been a good sport about it all when I admitted I made a thread about it he said I should probably tell you all about the time he wore a leather catsuit. Grin

Rinse that was my own typo I meant 10 years. Althought once we took a trip down memory lane he remembered he bought them in Leeds about 2 years before we met so that would make them around 7-8 years old.
He is confused why they say a size 14 when he said the packet said M but a few other on here have said their DH clothes from H&M have woman's sizes. He's also. Sure he didn't buy them out of H&M but maybe they were In a Department store.

sounds like maybe he bought ladies bikini bottoms insteadof trunks without realising
or something

one of those things you will probably never know

mrscynical · 26/07/2013 18:39

Oh Cheese...

"BUT WHERE DID HIS BALLS GO?????"

I fear we may never find out. Prepare yourself for a few sleepless nights!

rinse - I seem to remember that when H&M were Hennes (and Hennes & Moritz) their labelling showed "H&M". So no cause for concern on that score!

MissStrawberry · 26/07/2013 20:11

I am so glad I read this thread to the end purely because I see AF is back!! Grin.

MaryBateman · 26/07/2013 20:34

Only just seen this but glad you got it sorted.

I've bought DS a few bits from H&M over the years and at least one hoody and a couple of t-shirts have double labels. They have bloke sizing at the back of the neck and ladies sizing halfway down the inside seam at the waist. DS is a size 10 apparently! Am in Leeds and we most definitely had an H&M/Hennes when he says he bought them.

EBearhug · 27/07/2013 00:13

He is confused why they say a size 14 when he said the packet said M but a few other on here have said their DH clothes from H&M have woman's sizes.

Well, that's not just him. I was buying some trousers last week - one pair were XL on the hanger, but the label inside when I found it said 14-16 (which isn't really XL to my mind.)
