Do people really have extremely loud sex genuinely

stardice · 17/08/2012 14:17

or is something lacking in my life? On a recent holiday, a couple a few balconies down had seemingly earth shattering sex involving a lot of screaming and moaning. So loud that people came out of their rooms all the way down the corridor.
Secrectly i am a bit jealous that their sex life is apparently so great.

Surely if you are asked to shut up and you don't Thtas showing off

garlicnuts · 17/08/2012 15:54

I am that old, OneMoreChap Grin Sounds like you must have made a lot of women very happy!

ImpossiblyGlossy, being quiet means I have to inhibit myself. May as well not bother ... almost.

Crimebusterofthesea · 17/08/2012 16:00

Once had neighbours who shagged really really loudly - what made it ten times worse was that the bloke had the same name as my DH. Was quite off putting to say the least. One night, we felt it was only polite to give them a round of applause when they had finished Grin

Rachog · 17/08/2012 16:15

I can be noisy when I am really enjoying myself. Not screaming but lots of moaning and groaning.

NigellaPleaseComeDineWithMe · 17/08/2012 16:44

DW can get noisy at the final point, so ends up biting my shoulders - ouch - but usually worth it Grin - DS' have noticed a few bruises sometimes though

Alameda · 17/08/2012 16:50

'your orgasm is your responsibility' that is the funniest thing have read for ages Grin wouldn't the poor bloke be better off having a wank by himself?

Alameda · 17/08/2012 16:57

isn't giving your partner pleasure the actual main point of sex, or are they just a prop to use on the way to your own orgasm?

RunningOutOfIdeas · 17/08/2012 17:10

We had neighbours (semi-detached) for a year who were very noisy. They also had amazing stamina. I just used to turn the television or radio up. That would usually get them to realise that I could hear them and then they would be a bit quieter.

The best story I ever heard was a friend who had the misfortune to be working for a famous comedian who has a reputation for being very sexist. My friend and his wife (they worked together) had to accompany comedian to a few of his shows. On the first night at the hotel, comedian said to friend, in front of friend's wife "loose her and we'll go and find some whores". Friend said no and as soon as possible friend and his wife went to their hotel room. As soon as they heard comedian enter the next door hotel room (alone), friend and his wife spent as long as they could manage having the loudest shag. Comedian avoided saying anything to either of them the next day.

Ha ha BCarter

"A finger up the bum, usually makes him come"

My method exactly, especially when he's had a few drinks!

janelikesjam · 17/08/2012 17:22

I've had a couple of (female) flatmates who scream and scream. Why is that? I've no idea. It always woke me up but I was too shy to say anything. As an old crone now, I would ask WTF? p.s. If its just orgasms, then men would scream the house down too but I've never heard that, and men can be very loud in other ways. So, remain puzzled, and unconvinced. It would be creepy if the women were just kindof acting/showing off but I did wonder ...

jadebond007 · 17/08/2012 18:06

Yep. I listened to a recording of myself recently (as you do) and realised I'd been shouting OH FUCK OHH FUCK OH FUCK

I was not aware of that at all!

Heleninahandcart · 17/08/2012 18:41

I've always wondered whether anyone actually does shout Yes, YES, YESSSS as in US films. If so, why? Yes what?

Also does anyone really say 'come to Daddy'? Never got this either.

garlicnuts · 17/08/2012 18:46

I had a boyfriend who used to shout "NO NO NO!" It was a tad confusing.

Heleninahandcart · 17/08/2012 18:47

Grin at garlic

dondon33 · 17/08/2012 19:40

Nothing lacking Stardice and it certainly doesn't mean they're are having great sex. She could of been faking it with porn star sound effects.

I'm quite vocal, the loudness depends on what kind of orgasm I have, the more intense- the louder I am. I can't remain silent and often have to bite the pillow/DP if we have visitors or within earshot of DC.
Haven't felt the need to fake it with anyone but I'd be worried that a regular partner would feel I was faking it (lack of contractions, extra wetness, raised heart rate etc..)

Helen-Also does anyone really say 'come to Daddy'? Never got this either
:) nope, me neither. I'm afraid if anyone actually said those words to me in the sack then I feel I'd be well within my rights to high five him in the face/ throw him in the street naked.

garlic-"NO NO NO!"
:) pmsl. The first time I'd of been tempted to ask if I was hurting him.

DontstepontheMomeRaths · 17/08/2012 19:50

Tries to remember what sex was like before DCs and divorce Wink

Ummm I was quite vocal, made appreciative sounds etc. Never screaming though! But I cannot stop talking at the best of times and am a noisy person I think Blush Not that it's terribly relevant but when in labour I also shouted a fair amount.

OneMoreChap I think it's brilliant to ask a lover what they like in bed. Communication is very sexy Grin

I am pretty loud when I feel like it/don't care who's listening. More so when I was younger and pre-offspring, I remember a particular guy I dated who lived in a shared flat with thin walls and getting some knowing smiles from his flatmates the next day whenever I stayed over. Oh well Blush Grin

DippyDoohdah · 17/08/2012 22:17

undertone..exactly like you, sister!Grin

awbless · 17/08/2012 22:53

undertone we must be twins. You've got me spot on!

Silibilimili · 17/08/2012 22:59

When I lived in an apartment, guy next door used to do this. Bring a very noisy gf home. Every night like clockwork at 3 am she would start moaning. I got so fed up with being woken up that one night I banged on the walls for them to be quiet. Did not happen after that. Blush

teenyweenytadpole · 17/08/2012 23:01

I'm quite loud (not that I have much sex these days, but whenever I do...). Mostly it's yes yes, oh yes type stuff. I can't help it, it just comes out (so to speak).

DioneTheDiabolist · 17/08/2012 23:01

I tend to get a bit loud towards the end.
BF is very loud towards the end, I have to gag him if he comes round when DS is asleep. He is now learning to bite pillows.

Abitwobblynow · 17/08/2012 23:28

Undertone love the honesty!

Mrs Trellis ha ha ha ha ha!

StaceeJaxx · 17/08/2012 23:32

Um well I'm a bit of a screamer, especially if I've had a bit of a drink. Blush But I've toned it down so much since having the kids, although I do look forward to when they're not here and I can let go. Blush
