Dp been on computer annd i nosed through history as i do to se what he's been looking at, some jewellers pop up and he's navigated through the engagement rings to lockets, then finaly and i'm guessing this will be my gift, landed on the cheapest locket they sell....I know its the thought that counts and its not just my gifts he's tight with but I just wish on one occasion he would suprise me and splash out on something nice to show i mean something to him. am i being a cow? i know there are people on here with vile partners and he's not that, just so blinking tight!

So did he actually purchase the locket, or was it all just browsing? Because if that's the case, then there is no more proof that he will buy the locket than there is he would buy the engagement ring.

Engagement rings came up in history as did a few others but when you click on jewellery pages they come up straight away to try and force them on people i guess, so maybe he looked then carried on to what he had in mind. I feel bad now, and i dont think i will check in future because if i hadn't seen the engagement rings page there i probably would have been very pleased with the locket :)

ah ffm, I was one of those who posted about there being things more important than expensive presents - but I don't think you're a cow.

Have a lovely Valentine's day, whatever it brings x (and of course you do now have to come back and let us know.... .)

I'll be lucky to get anything! If I want a card for mothers day my mum has to get the kids to write in it and then send it. For all of you who have a loving husband, no matter what they send you, be grateful :O)

OP maybe that's all he can afford? Maybe he doesn't want to propose on Valentines Day? There are over 300 other days in the year he could pick!

And yeah, stop snooping! Wink

Its a leap year. That means if you want to get married but you still want to be 'traditional' you can ask him. There's no need to sit about mooning or checking internet history :)
