but divorce is always going to be hard

Carla has other problems too, that might be relevant if she and her husband were to split.

I know she has tried very hard in the past to address some of the difficulties she has. I am not aware of how much progress Carla has made, if any in recent times.

Perhaps if Carla wants to she can discuss them here
