Right I'm confused by this thread, because I thought they were taking a break for a while so they could work on their other projects, and then they would come back. I am sure Adam said they were returning when their other things were done. They never said they were going for good did they? Because if they did, then I missed it!

I just don't know if I can allow myself to believe they will be back, and risk getting hopes dashed if Joe's career goes stellar in H-wood. The fact they haven't said when they will return makes it hard to feel reassured.

I heart Adam best. I reckon that his being happy to tell all about the hot dream involving Joe suggests an appealing level of confidence in one's sexuality . That combined with the fact he is an involved dad of young kids makes me swoon a bit... even if he is a bit short and hairy, I'm not really bothered ...

Not that this is about crushes. It is about them being very, very funny.

LOL at 'short and hairy'. I've got a friend who is v like Adam, physically and humour-wise. Must say he's never had any trouble getting women (my friend, not Adam, I dunno about Adam).

I thought they were coming back...[big-eyed hope emoticon] I loved A&J on 6Music, I am sorely missing them.
However, I'm really enjoying Jarvis Cocker on 6. I'm not a Pulp fan & have always been a bit ambivalent about ol' Jarvis but he has a lovely soothing manner for a Sunday afternoon & plays great music. I try to do the ironing to it.
And I was just thinking the other day that now Drivetime is his own train set, Simon Mayo is actually very good. I loathed Chris Evans though.

Oh I love Simon Mayo (and even had an erotic dream about him once ) but have really warmed to Richard Bacon after listening to his evening show for ages - he has a sense of fun and mischief about him that I like. (Now his replacement in the even, Tony Livesey, is a travesty...)

adam and joe gone!!!??? i thought they were just on a long holiday!!!! say it isn't sooo???? i used to save the podcasts and listen to them on my radio into work... who will make me giggle and smirk away during the tedious drive to work now???
