Really loved Iain Lee on LBC and miss him - don't want to listen to virgin

same here oneplusone - i started this thread cos I miss Iain Lee so much and have just got myself into podcasting (tragic tragic) and have been listening to his old shows - they were fab! Soooo funny. Really miss him

when is, sorry was, Iain Lee on? I have never listened to him. One thing i don't like since i have restarted listening to LBC is the amount of ex-reality tv show contestants they have as presenters. There are two who used to be on The Apprentice and they are awful. It is sad to see LBC lowering it's standards so much

Yes i have podcasted a vintage show (clips from shows) from the late 80's and LBC sounded like Radio 4 in comparison to now!

I am not a big fan of James Max and what the hell they were doing employing Tre god only knows!!

Well Tre has been ousted since his court appearance a month or so back. James Max is ok although can be a bit of a tit sometimes

There are two I really can't bear. One is Andrew Pearce. Fall asleep listening to him. He is sooooo dull. And Simon Calder. Clueless about travel, never answers the question and no radio personality. They should have let John Warrington do it.

Friday and Saturday nights are a bit of a desert without Clivey.

I think 2005-07 were within my non-listening years. But i remember Robbie Vincent and Mike Allen.............oohhhh, the good old days

I do listen to the Jim Davis sex show on Fridays, it is a bit ewww, but still i'd rather do that than watch tv.

Yes i agree Simon Calder is a big no-no (absolutely no personality). I don't mind a little Andrew Pearce but more than 10 minutes and I have to switch off.

Robbie Vincent and Mike Allen. Aaaah, those were the days. Douglas Cameron and Sandy Warr for breakfast. And Clive's Guess the Fruit!

I just like the sound of Jim Davis' voice and i think he gives better advice than the so called expert.

Although then again DH and I might watch '24' tonight. It's a new series. Have you ever seen it?

It was so wierd - i was on here writing and then thought will just pop to the bank and there he was - i had my back to him and i just recognised his voice as he was at the counter (as you would do really!)

James O'Brien is the only one I can tolerate on LBC at the moment. As soon as I hear Jennys voice swooning away, I switch off.
