Liked this programme when it was only 15 minutes. This is a fabulous extension. But I’m going to be crying by the end.

I just heard today’s, with the pregnant woman - do we ever find out how they all are? There doesn't seem to be any more episodes.

Lord - I’m out of breath after Ep 2!

How, seriously, do they manage to make this show so … lifelike? I feel every smidgeon of jeopardy, and every quiver of life changing exasperation or horror at the way people treat each other.

As far as I recall we don’t always hear the outcome of individual stories. And really, after yesterday’s, I’d sometimes prefer not to.

I would assume that sometimes, but generally not, finding out what happens next is to add to the realism of the programme. From a listener's point of view I think deliberately having loose ends works well.

I’ve been wondering which of the two young men at the Event might have been involved with the young woman with the eye? (Trying to avoid spoilering.)

Half way through first episode and really enjoying it. I was talking to a colleague earlier who used to be an ambulance dispatcher. She's not listened to it ,(yet...)

This is such a good series, but always makes me wonder about a career change!
