Well, she is her father's daughter.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 16/11/2020 13:37

Or so Jennifer asserts.

MikeUniformMike · 16/11/2020 13:41

It had crossed my mind when I posted that both her parents had been unfaithful.
Kristiffur on the other hand has two parents who haven't strayed.

ppeatfruit · 17/11/2020 07:45

Ref. Alice's monogamy or not. It did cross my mind that her and Gavin seemed very cosy after he had been her knight errant.

ppeatfruit · 17/11/2020 07:47

2 minds with different thoughts Mike but similar words , sorry Mike Blush

PoulePouletteEternellement · 18/11/2020 09:23

Now I'm wondering if Alice's horrific ordeal might be immediate enforced attendance at an AA meeting; escorted to the door by Chris.

Possibly directly opposite the Gamblers Anonymous venue to which Gavin has finally been dragged by Philip ...

This will be how the miscreants eventually end up running away together!

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2020 09:27

But it's a bit late now for Alice. Maybe she'll miscarry?

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2020 09:29

I think that Kristiffur will move in with Neyull and Radio, and Gav will pop round offering a shoulder to cry on.

We can look forward in due course to a baby Alvin, stretching the human slaves story to 2023.

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2020 10:57

Stretching the story to 4020 don't you mean ? Mike Grin

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2020 11:28

There can't be that much mileage in it, surely.

I wonder where Moss Cottage is likely to be. Wales could be North near Krusty's parents - Wirral is only about 10 miles from the border.

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2020 11:29

Strange that she'd find the idea that Wales is that nice when you consider that Wirral is much nicer than Deeside.

ppeatfruit · 18/11/2020 14:56

Oh I just heard the repeat and Alice has a suspected misc, I REALLY didn't know !

Ref. Kirsty does she get on with her family? IIRC she doesn't.

It'll possibly blow up when Helen and Lee are about to move into Kirsty' n Ph's and they can 'rescue' Kirsty from an abusive situation where Phil shows his true colours.

The misery is getting to me now I may stop listening Shock

I wonder where Moss Cottage is likely to be. Wales could be North near Krusty's parents - Wirral is only about 10 miles from the border.

Monmouth was said by Helen and Kirsty to be a half-way place for them to meet between Ambridge and this putative cottage. So it seems more likely to be somewhere on the west side of the Brecon Beacons -- if it were further north, Hay-on-Wye would seem like a more sensible half-way place on the way to it.

ppeatfruit
Kirsty does she get on with her family? IIRC she doesn't.

She does. She was cross because her mother wanted her to have a large wedding, but in general they have been fine apart from her insisting on living in a village where she was brutally insulted, and which she had been living in for about three months total before being dumped at the altar by a member of the leading family there.

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2020 18:31

I have found a house for her.

ppeatfruit · 20/11/2020 08:41

How does the medical profession deal with someone like Alice? That was not easy listening fgs. Good acting though.

PoulePouletteEternellement · 20/11/2020 08:47

MUM!Halloween Grin

I notice there would be separate (somewhat improved) accommodation for Kenzie and Jordan.

(Has Blake actually been sold on yet?)

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2020 14:06

Weren't there stables and a paddock for them?

I think that cottage might suit me. It wouldn't be terribly far from relatives.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 20/11/2020 15:17

I don't think we are going to be spared more melodrama about The Baaaabeeeeee (and incidentally Alice being in serious trouble with her drinking) if Chris is having "emotional days". Drat.

Radio Times Ambridge Diary 23rd - 26th November 2020
The story of the Christmas show has been one of false starts and stress. Rehearsals are now under way, but who is in charge and are they the best person to be corralling the cast?
Over at Brookfield, we hear Elizabeth telling Jill that she’s now dating David’s arch nemesis. Mind you, David has problems of his own, what with him experiencing a crisis of confidence following an unusual conversation with Oliver.
Will, meanwhile, has concerns that Eddie is getting himself in too deep with his latest scheme, but his warnings may well be ignored. And there’s a bit of a disaster at the building site when Gavin makes a costly error. Will he hide the truth from Philip?

############################################
So either Blake wasn't sold on, or he's talking to someone outside the enclave?

(Nobody is someone's "arch nemesis" for not giving him a preferential price for his goods on a single occasion, nor for getting a discount from him for one event.)

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2020 15:28

Thanks Asking. No 'shocks' next week.

I wonder what Oliver will have to say. Something about moving on after a bereavement maybe.

Maybe Philip gets dedded.

PoulePouletteEternellement · 20/11/2020 16:21

Blake!

Neil!

Exciting!

Thanks, Asking.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 20/11/2020 16:49

Thanks, Asking! I assume the emotional day for Chris is Alice's departure for the detox place.

OP posts:
AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 20/11/2020 22:16

Oh, yes; that is probably it. Thanks, Gasp0de.

CaptainMyCaptain · 21/11/2020 08:32

I thought it might be the demise of the Chrysalis but then that would be emotional for Alice too. On the other hand going to the detox place would also be emotional for her, I would have thought.

ppeatfruit · 21/11/2020 08:48

Thanks Asking I wonder if the 'drying out' places use aversion therapy and or hypnosis. They couldn't put her on methodone or whatever they use because it would affect the babeee.

ppeatfruit · 21/11/2020 08:49

I missed yesterday's repeat.
