Hopefully we can go back to an ordinary tale of country folk?

Spoilers are frowned upon.... There's a thread for that.

Pip to me is blonde, with an old Barbour jacket and hand me down Hunter wellies

JasperDamerel · 28/09/2016 17:32

I think that Pip looks like a sturdier, less polished version of one of the Middleton sisters. She is actually rather pretty in a wholesome, outdoorsy way, but just not particularly sexy or likeable.

GrumpyOldBag · 28/09/2016 17:37

Pip is definitely sturdy.

snurking at Giddy's theories Grin

selsigfach · 28/09/2016 18:18

The only physical description I've ever heard is of her wearing short shorts with tights when a student, maybe going going with Jude. I think slim and toned, quite pretty but not spectacularly so, with long brown hair and in muddied skinny jeans.

selsigfach · 28/09/2016 18:19

Not impressed at Josh nicking money from his dad. It will all come out when the mower doesn't work and Dave goes round to the former owner, demanding his £3,200 back and they say, "eh, it only cost £2,900."

Any bets how long it is before (1) pip marries rex and then (2) brookfield has need to hire a cowman, matthew returns, and he and pip run away leaving rex in charge of the farm, four kids, bad uncle toby, and mad-scheme uncle josh. ( and sad silent uncle ben. He's never got over the death of granny heatherpet)

ColdTeaAgain · 28/09/2016 19:29

Ahh lovely Emma :)

Enjoyed hearing Pat standing up to Rob as well. What was he playing at hanging around before the contact time like that?

Abraiid2 · 28/09/2016 19:49

Jazza will beat up Rob to try and make up for his previous lapse.

selsigfach · 28/09/2016 20:44

Rob sounds really unhinged now he's lost his control and status in the village. Can't wait for him to flip when Justin changes his mind or the divorce papers come through.

OhTheRoses · 28/09/2016 20:54

Pip's a Miss Joan Hunter Dunn.

Binkybix · 28/09/2016 21:05

I never listened to AmEX. Given it's radio, how did you know it was inner monologue rather than him flipping and saying these things out loud?

Binkybix · 28/09/2016 21:06

Oh and I picture Pip as a less glamorous version of Fen from Riders

Binkybix · 28/09/2016 21:06

Which is also just a picture in my head I now realise Blush

TheAntiBoop · 28/09/2016 21:20

Pat didn't stand up to rob. She and jazzer were watching him from afar - when he said he'd heard her he meant it figuratively. I though jazzer sounded a little as though he felt 'ranted at' tbh. And pat was a bit 'me me me'

I'm glad Helen was nice to Emma. I'm not sure old Helen would have been!!

Signposting about the joint account!!!

So who is living at bridge farm? Is jazzer still there?

TheAntiBoop · 28/09/2016 21:22

Scrap that - just listening again and note I missed the first five mins!!

TheAntiBoop · 28/09/2016 21:22

Re Toby - Jill really hates him. Fine line between love and hate.....

EsmesBees · 28/09/2016 21:24

I loved the line about the joint account!

ColdTeaAgain · 28/09/2016 21:37

Yes the bit at the start was good. Agree poor Jazzer probably feels he just wants to keep right out of it! So typical of Rob to call Jack Gideon when talking to someone he knew wouldn't bother pulling him up on it. Then when talking to Emma later he only referred to Jack as "My Son".

The way he tried to belittle Jazzer as well Angry

TheAntiBoop · 28/09/2016 21:41

was that heavy signposting at the end about rob getting his comeuppance?

As carol is back can we assume Helen will speak with Anna soon?

Imbroglio · 28/09/2016 22:04

I want Ruth and David to take Ben away for half term. They'll come back to find that Josh has sold everything that was in the barn on Ebay to make way for his mushrooms, while Toby will have swept Pip off to Gretna Green.

LadyConstanceDeCoverlet · 28/09/2016 22:46

It must have been deeply painful for Rob to be aware that Jazzer was listening to Pat telling him off. What a shame.
