@ Jolene being born in 1970! OMG she's younger than me and I thought she was supposed to be 50's-ish. How old are the Grundy's supposed to be? I always think of them as 50+ too.

About this age thing, well I was so sad and intrigued that I went on the BBC Archers website family tree and indeed Jolene's date of birth is 01 Jan 1970, but so is Kathy Perks and , wait for it ,Sid's first wife.
However Sid's daughter ( the one in NZ) was born in 1971, so sadly I think it is 'an administrative error/default setting!
