I have a bee plus but don't fancy taking it on holiday as I dont want it to get trashed in the plane hold. I may buy the travel bag, but at £90 it isnt a cheap... Wondered what pushchair might be a good option to get (happy for used) that's less than £75 either new or sh. Only must have is reclining seat. I know there are some buggy experts on here so looking forward to your suggestions!

TIA

oh, ds will be 9.5months when we go

The recline on super lite is better than fastfold, looks more comfortable for a sleeping baby/toddler. Great over gravel/rough terrain. You might ned to lift the front wheels slightly for bigger bumps, but it still pushes with ease like that.

I would go to Tesco or Argos and get a supercheap buggy from there. It would be madness to pay £80 or whatever for a couple of weeks. You can get a basic buggy for around £30.

Alternatively would get one second hand.

Actually there is one in Argos for £19.99.

Thanks for the input

Given that we go to France 2/3 times per year, we do need something thats going to last - both the journey and until we don't need it anymore so would def prefer to spend a bit more on a good SH one that a cheap new one.

DH and I have settled on the Micralite but we can't justify the extra £££ for a Superlite so original fastfold it is. Now if anyone has one to sell...?

What do you reckon is a good price for a second hand one in reasonable condition?

Just to finish this thread off in case anyone has the same requirements... Got an original fastfold in the end and I absolutely LOVE it It's perfect for what we need and although the recline isn't great, it didn't seem to stop him having a wee sleep this weekend when we took it out for a test run

It's amazing how easy it is to tip onto the rear wheel and just use those when the going is tough - absolutely NO comparison to the Bee which I struggle to get up kerbs! Very light to push and good maneuverability. I'm 5ft 11 and we just twizzled the handlebars round a bit so that they face back towards you rather than away which gives you an extra couple of inches and so you don't bash the rear wheels when you walk...

If only I could persuade DH that we need a superlite now
