Phew! hello all. Nicola that is fine about trousers.

Volo has come - urgh!! STINKS ha ha. Not for long though. Have scrubbed hood and got marks off and just waiting for towel load to finish then putting it all in machine. It's weird though cos underneathe the smell it is all immaculate. I am fussy though, not sure if I will keep it. rain ocver immaculate too, no rips. It came with a small bin liner partially wrapped aroud the wheels worth a tenner though might try and sell it for little bit of profit on ebay after my scrubbing, not sure yet.

James coughing like mad Diva, am not looking forward to tonight. I am sooooo tired.

Oh and took him to barbers this afternoon will try and get a pic of him in a minute - he is the double of my brother now, freaky!

Oh Basl - come to this house, if you had 4 of james a loaf of bread would last a week, he eats hardly anything!

i must admit i do in a kind way get satisfaction of seeing food disappear! i am forever buying food and making cups of juice but i do kind of love it too!

boys now going to hairdressers for haircut as barbers just can't get luka's right. they had a fab cut at hairdressers last time and they charge same as barbers. they are made a real fuss off too. Tom had his done with his dad on saturday a proper hoxton fin style he loves it!

Slightly odd without DD1 but I am not the pining type. I have sent her one letter which she requested. Other parents are sending lots.

yep my friend was like that 2yrs ago when her dd went on this trip...her son who's same age as tom hasn't wanted to go as doesn't want to leave parents! each to their own but i think its excellent experience for them.

Tom is quite independent and used to be without me. But obviously never been away with no parents before. He's apprehensive and has raised a few issues but mostly excited. Im quite excited too for him. Know i shouldn't think im the sobbing type dunoon. But i shall probably cry or have a lump in my throat when i see the little man return!

Tom has a nursery trip next week and I wasn't sure whether he'd be going as they wanted parents to go. His teacher offered to take him for me but MIL is now having Erin for the day, which means i'll be up at 6am expressing, lol.

oooh where they going? our nursery has never done trips (thank goodness i must say!) bet they will all have fab day out.

i feel really sad about Tate leaving nursery. They grow change and learn so much at nursery. I remember his first taster session holding a tiny luka on my knee and tate just loving the whole experience now he's almost a big school boy

I get to go on the nursery trip this year as no other DDs to look after. Um yay, I think.
Maybe an oversimplification but the stressy parents seem to produce the stressy children? On the trip thing I mean. DD1 has been away to grandmas on her own for a week before. Not quite the same but YSWIM. I agree about it being a great experience for them and I was excited too.

They are going to a country park place east of Glasgow that has a few animals. Seems like such a palava really as coaches have to be back for school pick up time. I didn't want to have to wave him off (though sometimes i'd like to ) or him be the only one going with a teacher. Although that isn't so bad at 4 years old!

Gosh, Tate will be starting school in September . My friends son with a november b/day will be as well.

Diva, and I was considering that black c://drive . Purple is my fav colour, so had to get plum MB, although i'm liking the Skate atm. Wish i'd got one before I had her, iykwim.

Well there have been loads on ebay with just a canopy thing - not a proper folding hood - the older volos don't have the connecters for the hood do they. jan's didn't remember?

All nearly out of wash so will see what it's like when all back together. Ging to upload pics of james in a min. he has always gone to hairdressers, but fed up with of late, barber did much much better job - it is proper boys haircut now though! It grows like wild fire anyway so soon be shaggy dog again I imagine!

I agree Nic, think the trip will be fab fo him. My sisters lad is the same age as tom - older in months though, but she mamby pambys him, he is sleeping in her bed just all wrong to me. He is almost 12!

DP not working today. He is only just feeding the DDs and there has been a lot of quite audible frustration going on.
I am doing bedtime if he isn't up to it.

I am all for kids going away with trips without parents. I went to Paris with school and i remember it like it was yesterday. I loved having my own money and getting to try cheap french wine if we ate a frogs leg and a snail. I will do anything for a glass of wine
Olivia loved going away with out us and now i think is such a good thing.

boden star plimsolls just as nice as cons imo if you have £10 vouchers? the tees are lovely esp the applique ones. and the swimming trunks the (small tight ones!) as i noticed you were after some! if you spend £30 get £10 off with XNHT plus your voucher you will have only spent a tenner result!

I have lost weight [not surprisingly really] and my Boden capris are hanging off me. Ditto Next linen trousers. My belt is on the 4th! notch. Annoyed. Spend a bleeding fortune and then go on the stress diet. Will have to eat more chocolate and cake.

DS2 been in bed since 6! Hope he sleeps til morning. He hasn't been sleeping very well lately.
