Winter babies.

AvadaKedavra · 22/08/2009 22:16

Yep that's a Maclaren Global

FMTD that second liner fabric is just gorgeous, was that from Ikea too? I'm looking for something funky and unisex to make a liner for black zapp with.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2009 22:19

Yes Ikea fabric.
Bought last year though.

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2009 22:20

yep i just answered your thread dunoon, happy to product test anything. shame i didn't keep my maclaren liner longer you could have seen it to copy the stitching etc.

carrielou do you need boys snowsuit? i have lovely m&s one gorgeous soft velour but quite lightweight so they can still move/breathe lol!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/08/2009 22:24

I got a mac liner to look at.
The second liner is a closer match to that one. Made in a similar way.

buggylovinmummy · 22/08/2009 22:28

Anyone selling a maclaren liner?

nicolamumof3 · 22/08/2009 22:49

AvadaKedavra · 23/08/2009 09:37

I want to try this out

scattykatty · 23/08/2009 10:04

Did someone say they have heard from Maclaren only I've still not got my stuff from her and it has been nearly a month....

DH is starting to get annoyed as I told him about all the Dis drama, not that he thinks Maclaren has done anything similar only that when you just buy off someone here there isn't really anything you can do when it doesn't show unlike ebay or his favourite place, John Lewis

I know she has had family stuff but I did really want the stuff for Legoland last week and I don't think I'll be getting much use of the sunnies if they don't come soon I feel really bad for whinging about it but I just want to know where I stand cos she did say she had posted them a while ago I though....

NaccetyMac · 23/08/2009 11:02

Dis has put a message on the FS board, SK. I haven't had any comms since 14th, apparently she was posting that day?
It is worrying - I'm reasonably new here so don't "know" her well, but I've bought from her before.

JigglyPiggy · 23/08/2009 11:17

morning all

have just replied to your thread in FS Naccety.

Avada - how do you come across these buggies to try?! looks good but it reminds me of so many others that i wonder if these 'lookalikies' are ever as good as the real thing?

Dunoon - your liners are fab, really like the black and white. going to have a look in ikea asap!

5inthebed · 23/08/2009 11:48

I received my pram from Maclaren on Thursday, and she was going to try post the stuff on Thursday, although that was the day of her grandads funeral. Hopefully we should get our stuff on Monday if she managed to post them then or Friday. I have every faith in her

That pram looks lovely AK, although not sure on the colour. I'm still wanting to try an Oyster.

Dunoon your new liner is lovely!

AvadaKedavra · 23/08/2009 12:07

Tis almost the same as the Oyster but looking at it folded up I think the Norton is more compact/flatter. I found it as when I was in the shop that I saw Oyster in, I noticed the big 3in1 Norton prams, wondered if it was the motorbike dudes (it is) and then this morning suddenly remembered that I was going to google it

Hope Mac is ok

scattykatty · 23/08/2009 12:09

Oh I thought she would have posted all the stuff at the same time, but I guess the Pliko was sent via courier.... It's just been a long time that's all!

About to use this for the first time, got it for my Birthday... anyone have any tips? I've heard everything cooks quicker than the times suggest?

My friend just saw a Bee for the first time....u oh for her bank balance!

AvadaKedavra · 23/08/2009 12:15

What are you cooking and when do you plan to eat by? thinking unless you don't eat tll 8pm or so you might have left it a bit late today, depending on what you are cooking anyway, I love my slowcooker and don't generally find they cook faster than times suggested.

scattykatty · 23/08/2009 12:17

Yeah I'm thinking of beef for tonight....

AvadaKedavra · 23/08/2009 12:20

mmmmm maybe beef for tomorrow then lol!

scattykatty · 23/08/2009 12:22

People wrote really bitter reviews on Amazon about it being fast but I'm going to stick the times for the first few goes at least anyway.

Also off topic but does anyone know where to get Sony Photo Printer paper that is not really expensive. My Dad got me this printer for my Birthday (again) to match with my lovely new Vaio but the replacement paper is £30!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, that nearly a 3rd of the printer, there must be other places right?

scattykatty · 23/08/2009 12:24

Avada do you really think I'm too late for beef tonight? Ooops I've already promised the IL's a slow cooked meal Maybe I'll do fish as that should be quicker....
