Thanks!

JigglyPiggy · 20/08/2009 22:33

evening all

Im watching your thread with interest Dunoon as I have been looking at fabrics today so it won't be long and I'll need similar answers

congrats on the positive Libras. does that mean a double BJCM will be needed?

5inthebed DH is liking the spitfire! he expressed interest in a buggy!!!

BexieID · 20/08/2009 22:53

5in - it's a 2002 Renault Scenic. After driving the wee Corsa, it's like driving a bus, lol. Felt that way after driving our other Scenic the first time. Has a 6 CD multi changer under the passenger seat. Need to get the other stereo we bought for the last one on ebay now.

horsemadgal · 20/08/2009 23:04

Wish I hadn't watched that Oyster video now, I WANT one!

Congratulations Libra!

buggylovinmummy · 21/08/2009 07:10

Morning all

Hopefully my BJCM is being paid for today and then i can order the black xt, yeah!!!!

5inthebed · 21/08/2009 09:09

Jiggly. Does he want to buy mine

Who bought it BLM?

Off out to test drive the pliko. It's a pramette and seems bigger than the pliko I had for DS2.

Sounds like a lovely car Bexie. Much better for two kids

buggylovinmummy · 21/08/2009 09:18

Someone on here-chocolategal.

Paid by e-cheque through paypal though so doesnt clear for 7-9 days so will have to wait to order my xt unless i talk to dp VERY nicely as we are going away for a few days beginning of september and wanted to get it before then.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2009 09:42

Morning everyone.
Not much to watch on the liner thread is there.

reallywoundup · 21/08/2009 09:53

jiggly will cat you to get addy! cut out the pattern last night for you.

carrielou2007 · 21/08/2009 10:00

Morning all.

Congrats Libra, that makes four of us on here now!!!

Who was talking about dying things the other day?? I'm thinking I bought (way too much for pfb) so many cotton cellular-type blankets and sheets for dd in pale pink maybe I could dye them blue??

I think I have 4 cot blankets, 4 fitted sheets, 4 flat sheets (never used so much easier to use fitted!!) a coverlet and a variety of pink blankets to use in the pram. Or should I just take to charity shop and buy some blue ones???

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2009 10:08

Cotton should dye allright. Maybe if you did them in a navy too so that the pink didn't affect the final colour.
I like the Dylon dye you can bung in a washing machine.

BexieID · 21/08/2009 10:14

I need to look through all my baby stuff. All of Toms 0-3 is unisex apart from one outfit, so will get 5 or 6 more sleepsuits in that size seeing as it'll be winter when bubs comes! Then just get clothes depending on what flavour we have. I have kept some of Toms clothes, so will need to sell them if we have a girl. He has some lovely summer bits in 3-6 from what I can remember. I know it was a hot one in 2006!

Carrie, or anyone else having a bub, do you need a moses basket? Have a brand new one and stand I got from debbie102 FFP if anyone would like it? My mums fixing the andle one the one I used for Tom as she made some lovely covers for it and they are too big for this new one!

BexieID · 21/08/2009 10:17

that is handle on, lol.

Libra, when you due? When you due carrie? Who else is expecting, i've forgot .

carrielou2007 · 21/08/2009 10:21

OOh thanks FMTD, I also have lots of lime green sheets and blankets (told you I had too many!!) so navy and lime green with the odd pale blue will look yummy I think!!

Bexie, I would love it!!! So I just need some covers (heads to Mothercare with 10% voucher for more blue things) am just on my way out but will be back later

BexieID · 21/08/2009 11:44

carrie, it has beige covers the new one. I was given the one I had for Tom and mum made some covers to revitalise it a bit. Will need to ask mum to parcel it back up and what day would be best for pick up (would be picked up from her on a weds or thurs as she doesn't work those days).

JigglyPiggy · 21/08/2009 11:58

morning everyone

all this baby talk is making me broody! If anyone needs any baby items give me a shout as DS is getting as big as my 1yr old nephew and I need to have a clearout. Have loads of girls stuff to bundle up aswell if anyone wants some cheap bits.

reallywoundup - CAT me! Im so excited (can you tell?!) have been looking at fabric on ebay but I think I want to have a look for patterned fleece if anyone knows where to look give me a prod.

5inthebed - Liking things and buying things are worlds apart for DH unless it will plug into his xbox! I really like it but I need to get the rearfacing / customising phase out of my system first.

5inthebed · 21/08/2009 12:04

Carrie, I've got a heap of boys pram blankets somewhere, could always send you a couple if you wanted?

I would love a new baby . Mine isn't so new anymore, plus he moves. I want one that just lies there and sleeps

Selling the Pliko if anyone is interested. £45 delivered. It's on the sales board now.

Jiggly, my DH thinks I'm running a small pram blackmarket the amount of prams I've had in the past few months . I'm not sure I want to part with my Spitfire tbh, just bought an organiser thingy off the boards last night, so am sort of pimping it up.

JigglyPiggy · 21/08/2009 12:24

lol lies there and sleeps.

DS is starting to roll over so the fun and games are about to start!

what is it about the BJCM that is making think of trading the lovely spitfire in for?

5inthebed · 21/08/2009 12:32

DS3 is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on everything that dares to get in his way. He is only 8 months old!

I just love how easy the BJCM is to push with one hand. It is one of the lightest and easiest prams I've ever had. The micralite is the same really, I might just get myself one of those, as I love those as well. There is one local to me going cheap, might have to buy it

mumofdjandbabies · 21/08/2009 14:06

8m and crawling eek my guys sat till 12m then 16m

horsemadgal · 21/08/2009 14:48

You had it easy mumofdj. DS2 trying to walk at 6 months, gggrrr he won't sit still, doing my head in!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/08/2009 15:03

I had a fast mover -DD3 who walked at 9 months.
She only crawled for a few weeks.
On the plus side when she started walking she was less interested in climbing.
DD2 was a climber and fell off things all the time- fun fun fun.
Not.

carrielou2007 · 21/08/2009 15:13

Afternoon all.

I would love any boys clothes you want to declutter sell to me jiggly and blankets 5inthebed. I've just bought some navy dylon - I have read through the whole thread but can't find it, what was the best way to do it?? It's a multipurpose that says to go in the washing machine but it was a tiny little hardware shop (that has fab stuff) so no instructions. Will one be enough for 2 blankets, 2 sheets and a poshbugs bag (don't want to put them all in in case I really make a hash out of it) and how do I stop everything I was after from turning blue??

Bexie, I actually won a moses basket, with covers etc and stand for 5.50 local pick up (my town) a few days ago but suprise suprise the seller has not yet replied to any emails asking when I can collect and pay!!

Just got soaked on a walk so dd would have a quick snooze in the buggy and bumped into some JW whilst I was struggling in pouring rain holding a brolly (as washed my hair this morning) in the wind. I kept saying not my thing thank you but they kept on and on and so I just said no thank you and staggered on, veering one handed off the pavement like a drunkard

mumofdjandbabies · 21/08/2009 16:00

oh my goodness to your fast movers!

although dd is a goer crawled at 10m now standing with one hand leaning on something one hadn waving saying hiya

oh dear...........
