I just want something at a cheap 'try it' price as it's been a while

SK, I know what you mean about the wheels. They never used to be like that, it's only since they started using the newer foamy type stuff for them that they look well worn as soon as you push them on anything harder than egyptian cotton.

I'll have to call Boots tomorrow then about that delivery fee. I thought it was a bit silly!

5inthebed · 07/08/2009 21:22

LOL SK, I also have a maclaren major for ds2 that is pimped with several liners in different cartoon characters. He doesn't know about them!

Do I want the Piko then? It's a nice material, plus has the rain cover and footmuff.......need to go look at the thread and see if anyone has bought it yet

You lot are so encourageable!

sweetkitty · 07/08/2009 21:23

I hate the wheels on my Lunamix, everytime I am out it picks out stones that I have to end up fishing out.

Once I have sold Infinity I have told DH no more prams unless I have another baby

Disenchanted3 · 07/08/2009 21:27

In all honesty I doubt shes sent the cam,

she might just be saying that to her.

5inthebed · 07/08/2009 21:44

I just keep telling DH he should be glad it's prams that I like, because I used to be a hell of a lot worse BC with shoes!

scattykatty · 07/08/2009 21:48

My friend just told her husband that he had to be nice to her cos I bought a £240 handbag... I feel I may be her excuse for a while

I just feel like a Maclaren's wheels look 10 years old, they looked horrible after one push round the block!

Get Pliko, tis a bargain after all, would be rude not to

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 21:56

sweetkitty may I ask is your infinity for sale? x

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 21:58

thats why dh won't let me have any more babies....he's sick of prams!

sweetkitty · 07/08/2009 22:20

mumofdjandbabies - Dienchanted wants the Infinity back crazy lady that she is but if she doesn't want it you can have first dibs I am definitely selling it.

Nicola - it was DH that persuaded me to TTC#4 even though I have told him I will need another P&T, I have horrific SPD when pregnant and couldn't face another pregnancy swore never again when pregnant with DD3 but she is just so cute and 4 is a more even number than 3 don't you think? Chances are it will be DD4 and he will be even more outnumbered.

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 22:25

well wishing you all the best SK with ttc. we may in a years time ttc no.4 but by then the boys may be so easy that i don't want another. i do just adore babies. i had bad spd with ds2 which was even worse with ds3 it was dreadful esp as ds2 didn't walk til i was 7m pg!! hard work.

pebbles79 · 07/08/2009 22:28

I have to say, it's the pregnancy that would put me off ever ttc ever again, lol! Not that I'm even going to have that chance in 5 weeks time anyway.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 07/08/2009 22:30

Whats happening in 5 weeks time pebs?

I'd love another DC, but I hate being pregnant. I had my tubes tied when having c section with ds3, so would need to adopt, which we have talked abut and will hopefully do in a few years time.

Disenchanted3 · 07/08/2009 22:31

Sorry mum2djandbabies Im definatly having the infinity back, I miss it!

sweetkitty · 07/08/2009 23:07

I am utterly dreading the pregnancy, I will count down the days, what will get me through it is knowing never ever again, am getting my tubes done for sure

pebbles79 · 07/08/2009 23:21

I'm having a hysterectomy 5in, I'm very young to have one but it's needed .

Anyway, even if I wasn't having it DH got the 'snip' when I was pregnant with Zoey as she was a surprise baby and I although I'd never be without her I didn't want anymore surprises, lol!

OP posts:
mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 23:44

NOT A PROB DIS oops caps!

pebbles are you selling your liner still, if so may I ask how much for?

anyone else got a girlyish liner for sale?

pebbles79 · 07/08/2009 23:54

Looking for £12 delivered . It does have a slit in the middle for the strap on the BJCM but it's easily hidden and is under the bum, lol!

OP posts:
mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 23:55

can I have a link again pls xx would it easily fit the mooon kiss do you know love

pebbles79 · 08/08/2009 00:05

From what I remember, I think it would - they have a similar seat. Side 1, side 2, and on the BJCM.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 08/08/2009 06:44

Aww Pebs, I remember you saying. I hope it all goes ok for you. DS3 was a surprise baby as well, more so as I'd had fertility treatment to get ds1+2 and was tld I could never conceive naturally. But what do the professionals know?!

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/08/2009 10:33

Morning all.
DD3 was our surprise baby and she is definitly the last!
Pregnancy and sleepless night put me off another. Babies are lovely but that stage passes quickly and then you have mayhem. I'm getting too old anyway at 45.

maxybrown · 08/08/2009 10:50

Well I am sticking to the one!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE DS at the minute, oops I love him all of the time I just meant at the age he's at!!!! I'll stop digging now.....

basl · 08/08/2009 13:10

norma if you decide to sell any of the liners etc for your elite can you let me know as i only have the one and it does not fit. It was made by chunkle and just a standard size. Yours always seem to fit perfecly and look like they don't move about.

NormaSknockers · 08/08/2009 18:29

They are an absolute perfect fit Basl Lucy (Snunkie) took all the measurements for the Elite so they fit like a dream. I never bother having the slit put in for the fold (you can) as I find it easy enough to slide my hand underneath to fold & stops crumbs etc going down it. This is my latest one & matching blanket I just love it ! I won't be selling til I sell the Elite though so a few years yet...although I already have some more fabrics in mind so will have dozens to sell by the time I sell lol

5inthebed · 08/08/2009 19:27

That blanket is gorgeous Norma!

How long do Babyvalue usually take to deliver stuff?
