mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 18:42

I am jealous about your pup dis

Divatheshopaholic · 07/08/2009 19:10

nicola, i emailed you.

sweetkitty · 07/08/2009 19:48

Have decided to sell the Infinity back to seller who sold it to me the Luna folds better for the car, am going to pimp it up with a liner though to cheer myself up though

Dis - aww enjoy your new "baby"

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/08/2009 19:53

Enjoy Dis.
Hope you get your MB on Monday

5inthebed · 07/08/2009 20:05

Piko - seller emailed me and said one of the "feet" was missing and would refund me £5. I am really arsie when it comes to missing bits, so asked for a refund. She was reall nice about it. So bought the spitfire instead Spitfire has the bigger wheels like XT as on Ryder frame. And Zapp wheels are about as small as I will go, so bargain all round.

Nicola, if Diva doesn't want the snuggle, can I have a look at it? Might go with my Zapp. Do you think a snuggle would be better than the quinny coccoon thingy?

SK, I am blaming you for the iron Zapp

We took the train into Sunderland today and went to the free botanical garden and museum they have there. It was a fab day! Although, my dad gave me £100 to spend on myself (as a treat) and I spent £50 on the boys and DH has just took other £50 to go out with his cousins last minute Nice treat for me!

Disenchanted3 · 07/08/2009 20:09

awwww man,cam lady is getting hers but LL only said she had had the cam dropped off (as in 'my dad dropped your buggy off)... and ive had no txt so i dont know if mines gone too

You'd think they'd both gone but why not let me know too??

Divatheshopaholic · 07/08/2009 20:14

Nicola, i pass buggysnuggle to 5in im getting black BS, i got to cut it and make slot for shoulder straps too

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 20:22

oh dis
what a strain!

before I forget,
nic, you know the buggyboard I cant seem to get the adapter thingys (with the uncut thingys) not to fall downwards / drag on the ground when the buggy board is not attached - is there a nack to it? they dont seem to remain tight or is that just me !

5inthebed · 07/08/2009 20:27

Aw Dis, that sucks! My Mutsy buyer hasn't paid yet, so if she doesn't I can sell you it cheap if you don't get your MB? I really hope you get it!

How is your puppy settling in?

Ooo, Nicola, pics on the snuggle please Do you need my email address

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 20:32

pics of snuggle are now on thread. tbh i think a zapp footmuff would go lovely and they are super gorgeous i ordered the breen one before v.luxurious.

i did put a snuggle tho on my zapp and it did fit ok, i think theres pic on the breen zapp but not be full length see zapp

ummmm 5in wheres your treat then? hope he's giving you money back to spoil yourself.

mumofdj, you need to tighten them right up its tricky to do but they shouldn't move at all once tightened, should be totally firm.

pebbles79 · 07/08/2009 20:32

You need to pull the strap really tight on the buggyboard and then I had to use pliers to get it really really tight!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 20:33

yep its fiddly and i cut my knuckles tightening. but once there on there on! you can get spare sets of connectors if you plan to use on more than one buggy.

JigglyPiggy · 07/08/2009 20:39

Hey Dis have you been tempted by these yet?

Maclaren · 07/08/2009 20:41

Nic I still have the jojo muff if you want it back!

Dis chin up lets hope she has done the right thing and posted it to you!

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 20:49

oh wrong colour now maclaren. i need grey or black to go on black xt. i like the retro spot snuggles and you can get that in waterproof. what did you think of the black xt footmuff i quite fancy one but they are pricey just can't remember how big they are?

mumofdjandbabies · 07/08/2009 20:56

ah got ya ill try then thanks!

scattykatty · 07/08/2009 21:08

Haha 5in I'll take the blame it is a lovely colour. Wouldn't get the matching footmuff though; I think it would be a bit much, I'm gonna get one in the autumn that goes with it but not so bright so it's not bright blue overkill...

Still think Piko is fab, I just think Maclarens always end up looking grubby, maybe it's the wheels as they get all marked unlike air wheels

Dis your puppy is like Heaven, I've begged for one for YEARS! Sob sob sob I think the MB will turn up on monday, it would be really weird to send one and not the other.

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 21:11

scatty...grubby...maclarens

those are two words that don't fit together in my pram shed!! you've obviously not seen any of my maclarens?! pmsl i've had about 8 this year alone, i wash the covers every week, clean the chassis and wheels

scattykatty · 07/08/2009 21:15

Haha maybe it's just my XLR, I don't know how to explain it, I think it is the wheels that they show marks where as big Bugaboo type types don't look used for a lot longer.

Also I'm very bitter that my buggy is fallng apart and Maclaren don't care

5inthebed · 07/08/2009 21:16

There is no such thing as blue overkill SK! I think I'll get the quinny footmuff, might "treat myself" to one haha.

Nicola, I'll get the cash back off DH, just a bit miffed as it was mine, in my purse, rather than out of his bank iykwim. Going to get myself some new clothes I think.

Thanks Jiggly, now I need a dog just to get a pram for it

I like Pliko's as well, quite tempted by Maclaren one for £40. Wnder if DH would get annoyed at me havig three prams, when I told him I'll just get the one?

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 21:17

yes thats not good, i've always found maclarens v.hard wearing. i know what you mean on the xlrs they have those grey wheels and the new style mac wheels do seem to 'pit' immediately.

nicolamumof3 · 07/08/2009 21:18

5in i don't think your dh has a leg to stand on lol!!

i think the iron footmuff would be lovely too. i so love the quinny ones. so soft inside.

scattykatty · 07/08/2009 21:18

Get the Pliko! I have 3 at the mo, Cameleon, Zapp and XLR Plus you have 3 children, I only have 1..... so tell DH it's just one per child
