Has anyone bought this pram? It looks like a good deal to me, but I can't find any reviews anywhere! What do you think of it if you have it? Or can you recommend something similar?

Oh that would be brilliant! I've got ages yet- can't even start trying to get pregnant til may, and given that my quickest conception was 16mo I think it'll be a while after that! I do really want the pram. DH even agreed to it. It just seems like an awful lot when it's not even guaranteed we'll be having another Sad

Good luck to you all on your babies, can't believe how quick they grow up my little girl is nearly 4 and my baby is 4 months old today and this is our last 😢. Good luck whoami24601 hopefully it won't take too long for you it took me 4 years for my daughter and 2 for my son even though we got referred to fertility centre and was told I couldn't carry a child naturally and even IVF wouldn't work i had 2 children naturally so I am very blessed xx

MrsSeverusSnape · 23/02/2017 10:42

My son was 4 yesterday - it goes in so fast!

Whomai I hope it happens quickly for you, DS2 was 3 years in the making but this pregnancy happened the second month of trying. Smile

DH has been persuaded of the need to get a new pram, taking him to see the journey at the weekend.

Hi Ladies,

I have been looking at this for a week now, just thinking it looks really good for the price but because there are little to no reviews i find it hard to click buy.

Whoami24601 · 24/02/2017 13:08

Well hopefully we'll manage a review on this thread before much longer!

Whoami24601 · 24/02/2017 13:09

severus do I read that right and you have 3 DC? Our next will be our third, and I'm still not totally sure! Could you tell me more about what it's like?

OP posts:
MrsSeverusSnape · 25/02/2017 21:45

This baby will be number 3, I'll let you know how it goes when she's here.

It's different for us though as DS1 will be 13 in May and a big gap definitely made the transition from 1 child to 2 much easier.

I'm worried about how DS2 is going to react as he is very clingy and is having a hard time.

In pram news, DH saw it today and loves it. The suspension is amazing and it feels so much sturdier than the xpedior and orb.

We will be ordering next week.

Whoami24601 · 25/02/2017 23:43

How is it being pregnant with 2 already to look after? That's one of the things that's worrying me! Though mine will be 4 and 2 when we start trying, so a bit more needy than yours!

And yay about the pram! I can't wait to be pregnant to I have an excuse to go buy it haha

NotaSnowflake · 26/02/2017 00:05

I had a Mothercare Xpedior and it was DREADFUL! Was so flimsy I still cannot believe I actually put my baby in it! Especially after moving onto a super-solid, well made iCandy

MrsSeverusSnape · 26/02/2017 08:43

I'm a childminder and during the days I have my own 4yo and a mindee of a similar age to your youngest.

The first trimester was tough - I was really tired and changing dirty nappies made me heave. Second trimester was easier as I had a boost of energy. Now I'm in the final stretch I'm getting tired again but I get to go on maternity leave in a few weeks! After school until dinner is the toughest bit. I just want a nap and I have a houseful to entertain! But I'm getting there. Lifting the toddler can be tricky now, but she's recently started to walk - perfect timing!

I couldn't believe how rickety the xpedior is! The journey is a world apart.

DaisyQueen · 28/02/2017 18:45

Has anyone bought this yet?

Reviews!

DaisyQueen · 08/03/2017 13:44

I've ordered it. Delivery should be Friday so I will leave a review. Still have 16 weeks to go but trying to be as organised as possible this time around!

MrsSeverusSnape · 09/03/2017 09:05

Yes! It's here and built. Excellent value for money, I'm really really happy with it. The suspension is lovely, lots of space in the pram for baby. The instructions could be better but we worked it out. Baby will be here by May so I'll be back with a review once she's been out in it.

Dollylolly22 · 09/03/2017 22:08

Hi all!

My first baby is due any time now and after many months of deciding what travel system to buy, I'm almost sold on this one

All reviews seem fantastic but I just need to know if it can be folded with the seat attached!

Catherine and whoever else has this pram... please help!

Dollylolly22 · 09/03/2017 22:10

Hi!

Can the pram be folded with the seat attached?
If so, is it easy and can it be done with the seat facing both ways? Is it still freestanding?

Thank you!

MrsSeverusSnape · 10/03/2017 15:12

No it can't be folded with the seat attached, but even with the seat removed, it is very compact.

Dollylolly22 · 11/03/2017 00:08

Oh no!

Thing is, whenever I go mothercare the manager says that for almost all the buggies, the seat must be removed. However when I watch review videos of the same buggies I see that mums find a way of folding with the seat attached. Most recent example was the oyster 2

I'm just wondering if you've ever tried folding it with the seat? Or if you could and let me know how you got on? Confused

I don't drive and rely heavily on public transport. I can't imagine trying to climb stairs at a station... how do I hold the chassis and baby and the seat unit!

I'd really appreciate if you could let me know. I'm 34 weeks but doctors are sure I'll be going into preterm labour.. anytime now! I really need to get a travel system before baby decides to come
Thank you xx

MrsSeverusSnape · 11/03/2017 08:28

Hi, sorry it's in a cupboard until bubs is here in May.

I don't drive either and have always had prams that need the seat taken off them. All the stations I've encountered either have lifts or ramps. Or could you perhaps use a sling on the days you know you're going to have difficulties.

Honestly, I wouldn't be happy folding any pram with the seat on that's not designed to.

DaisyQueen · 11/03/2017 18:29

I never actually tried folding I with the seat still attached and I've boxed it all back up so can't tell if it can be done or not. It's bigger than I expected but I love love love it!

DaisyQueen · 11/03/2017 18:36

I actually don't think it would be possible due to the way it folds

DaisyQueen · 11/03/2017 18:50

My curiosity got the better of me. It can be done, it makes it very long but no problems other than that.

Whoami24601 · 11/03/2017 21:36

Yes, we tried folding it with the seat part in the shop, and it definitely does it. It is quite bulky though so would only do it when necessary. Not sure about if it folds with the car seat attached... DaisyQueen could you try it?

OP posts:
DaisyQueen · 11/03/2017 21:45

I've put it back in the box now sorry

Dollylolly22 · 12/03/2017 18:09

Yay!

Thank you so much! You guys rock Grin

I was so worried. I'll order it now 👍🏼
