Has anyone bought this pram? It looks like a good deal to me, but I can't find any reviews anywhere! What do you think of it if you have it? Or can you recommend something similar?

Anyone at all??

Hasn't anyone bought this pram?

Obvs not.

Or just no one who's online this eve.

Question is - do you like it. Go see it. Push it, fold it, try it in your boot.

Whoami24601 · 12/02/2017 22:01

Obviously I do like it, but looking at it in the shop doesn't tell the full story. I was hoping someone who actually owns it could tell me what it's like to live with. We'll be getting a new car soon, so trying it in the boot isn't an option.

Following!

I think they've only just brought the pushchair out which is why there probably aren't any reviews yet but I too like the look of the pushchair. I'm not due until August so not looking at buying anything just yet but starting to put the feelers out to see what we like/don't like

Whoami24601 · 13/02/2017 18:26

Haha I'm not even pregnant yet! Shopping for a (hopefully not for too much longer) hypothetical DS3 Blush

I've been looking for reviews on this all day. It looks great! I'm also not even pregnant YET ha!!

catherineox58 · 17/02/2017 14:38

Hi, I've just bought this pram on Tuesday and got it delivered yesterday. Any questions drop me a message but overall excellent pram.

MrsSeverusSnape · 18/02/2017 08:44

I'd be really interested in your review Catherine as I'm eyeing the Journey up in the mothercare sale right now!

Whoami24601 · 18/02/2017 09:05

I really want to know what it's like to live with. The little niggly issues you only find out about once you've been using it a while! I do already have a 21 mo DS who could be getting some use out of it until the next baby comes. I've always wanted a rear facing option, but could never justify the extortionate prices for bugaboos and iCandys etc. This one looks just as good to me, and comes with a decent car seat too!

I was looking at the orb until I started reading reviews which all mentioned sticky breaks and flimsy clips Confused

catherineox58 · 18/02/2017 11:04

I did have the Mother care Orb as a loan pram until mine got delivered and there can be issues with the brake on it x

catherineox58 · 18/02/2017 11:14

I haven't actually used mine outside yet so wouldn't know the niggly issues just yet only thing I would say is if you have a small car you would probably need to take the wheels off to fit it into the boot. My son is still in carry cot part as he only 17 weeks old so haven't used the seat part yet, but I have tried it on chasis and you can have it parent facing or world facing x

catherineox58 · 18/02/2017 11:19

I've had the silvercross 3d which broke after 11 weeks and the wheels were extremely squeaky, I then loaned the mother care orb nice pram but the brake is in an awkward place near the wheel. Out of the 3 I would definitely recommend the mother care journey as it is very roomy and the shopping basket is huge compared to others, plus you can clip car seat straight on and off. Only thing I would say is if you have a small boot you would have to take some of the wheels to fit it in car but all 4 wheels are removable x

MrsSeverusSnape · 18/02/2017 12:01

I'm more and more tempted Catherine. The pram wouldn't be in the car boot too often anyway - tend to use a sling more when we're out with the car.

Whoami24601 · 18/02/2017 12:26

Yeah boot most likely won't be an issue here - currently have a Ford Fiesta, which would have to be upgraded if we're having another anyway! Can you come back and let us know how you get on once you venture out?

OP posts:
Whoami24601 · 18/02/2017 12:27

I do think mothercare prams tend to have a much bigger basket compared to other brands, and I've never understood why!

OP posts:
catherineox58 · 18/02/2017 13:02

Yes of course once I go out tomorrow I Will come back to you and let you know x

MrsSeverusSnape · 18/02/2017 13:40

The basket size really appeals too, I had a stingy little basket on DS2's pram and it annoyed me daily.

The choice of colours is great too, I love the teal and red.

Whoami24601 · 19/02/2017 22:22

Sooo... catherine... Did you take it for a spin?

OP posts:
catherineox58 · 20/02/2017 08:41

Hi yes I did and I really love it lol by far the nicest out of the 3 prams I've had. I would definitely recommend this pram xx

MrsSeverusSnape · 20/02/2017 13:08

Oh that's good to hear. I think I'm sold!

Whoami24601 · 20/02/2017 17:58

Me too! Just the minor matter of getting upduffed...

DaisyQueen · 20/02/2017 18:01

This is the one I'm planning on buying, I found a video on YouTube that runs through the full spec. It's an absolute bargain for what's included. Baby isn't due until July so I keep having to resist buying it too early!

MrsSeverusSnape · 20/02/2017 20:16

@Whoami and @DaisyQueen, DD is due in May so if I manage to convince DH that we need a new pram - DS' one is very tired - I will be along with a second opinion!
