I need a tandem with toddler on top facing me...not a BJCS.......

Does such a stroller exist?

While I'd prefer a side by side, I use public transport so a tandem is more practical. I really need the top seat to suit my toddler and the bottom seat will be for my smallest baby.

I know that newborns are supposed to see their parents etc but my two year old won't sit in a buggy for any length of time before she wants to change her seat direction to 'chat' to me. I currently have a second hand bugaboo cameleon and its the perfect buggy but I need to change to accommodate my baby. I've researched buggies until I can't think straight with the result that my baby is now five months and I still haven't bought one but now due to going somewhere I need to buy one fast.

Can anybody help please?

Not sure but one of the Uppababy prams can accommodate a toddler seat. Can't remember where it is though. Sorry, that's not much help. It's a great pram generally.

ABC adventure buggy, single with toddler seat in top. its made by Phil green, of Phil and ted buggies. but I hear they've gone bust. eBay? I had a triple, top toddler seat was great, fully reclining, they slept in it.

Yes the uppa baby vista has toddler seat

I think the ABC looks cumbersome and I'm quite short so can see myself crashing into people!

The Oyster Max or the City Select then? Which will I go for?

I don't suppose anyone uses the Stroll Air My Duo and could let me know if its possible to get on a bus easily etc? It really ticks every box regarding seating combinations. The width is scaring me!

Apologies I didn't mean to not reply to other suggestions. The Uppababy was our buggy of choice when we had our first child but when I tested it in the shop, I could barely see over the handlebars.

I have since gone back and looked at it and the rumble seat is an uncomfortable looking ledge rather than a seat. My quite lazy two year old wouldn't be too impressed with it. She likes to recline and chat (non stop) and often falls asleep if we are having a long day.

While she likes sitting in the seat of a shopping trolley, I can't imagine her perched up on the rumble seat or indeed the toddler seat of the ABC for any length of time.

The ABC is a dream to push. on the flat with 3 children on board I could do it 1 handed. I'm not tall either, 5'4" ish. I couldn't see over the top so you do kind of look round the side. its doable but if you think there's a better option go for that! its not a perch seat on top btw, it's a fully reclining seat suitable from birth

The abc is fantastic! I've had various combinations and all are a breeze to manoeuvre.

I have a BJCS at the moment and it is heavy. It suits my needs and the positives outweigh the negatives. However, it takes all my weight to tip it up kerbs when the front seat is rear facing.

Pollaidh · 08/04/2014 08:59

Yes, we chose the Uppababy because we're tall so trip over with many prams :-)
