Buggy board for 2 year old. Yes or No

I am about to buy a buggy board so please just either tell me to go ahead or stop me.

DD will be 24 months when baby arrives.

Have already bought a new single pram without thinking too much about it.

Hoping dd will be ok on a buggy board from then on.

She walks to all the local places - shops, park etc...
I use London buses quite a bit so was worried about getting a double buggy on.

Have got a sling to take out with me in case dd gets too tired and will put baby in sling and dd in pram.

We don't generally go out for long walks etc

....................Get a buggy board or get a double buggy?

i have used doubles and buggy boards for a few years and doubles with a 2 year old is much easier than a buggy board, you won't be able to push it onto the bus with your 2 year old stood on the board so you will have to strap the board up, keep hold of dd and get buggy on bus, not easy. I would be getting a double second hand like the p&t, b dual, ect something that is not much bigger than a single, 2 years is too young for a buggy board really, i don't know what london buses are like, but i have taken my p&t on the bus with no problem just parked it where the seats fold up. But if you do get a board don't get one which has one wheel in the middle as these are really uncomfy to walk with, i have the lascal maxi board and you can walk ok with it just have to not lift your feet as far off the floor so they go under the board as you walk.

it may not fit a board and if it does i don't think you would be able to use the brake, it's not on the list on lascals website, i think it would have to go on the axle as the down tubes at the back look too far set back, you need to try it before you buy, go to an indepdent baby shop that sells them they could offer it up to your pram to give you an idea if it would fit

and how far does the footrest stick out in pf mode, it may be in the way for dd to stand between the pram and handle bar and you don't want her to be your side of the handlebar

Right ladies, I have purchased a second hand litaf seat to go on ebay to try out. Apparently has lots of connectors to fit to different prams.
I am also on the lookout on ebay for a cheapish double and will then se how we go.
