Teutonia Spirit 3 vs Herqules Raptor 3

PramsGalore I need you!

I have narrowed things down to these two, both of which are on ebay ending next weekend. I know they're both big heavy brutes but I'll need off-road daily living on a farm, and boot space isn't a problem (we have an estate car and a pickup truck).

I suspect they may sell for a similar price.....

The teutonia will take a maxi-cosi car seat (which we know fits in my estate car) whereas I think the Herqules only takes a britax (which we don't know if it fits) but both pushchairs come with carrycots....

Does anyone have any experience of these? I'm trying to persuade OH to let me buy both, and then sell on the one I prefer least, but he's not letting me so far....

Now, if you can solve the question of whether a raptor 4 is wider than a raptor 3, then you really would be good !!!!

is it def called a raptor 4 or is it a razor 4 spin, if it is the first then no i can not even find a pic, if its the razor easy it's below

and i would say the seat units that are desighned to lift off like on the raptor would be the same seat for all models at the time apart from maybe the twin. the razor looks like the same seat as on yours, don't know if any of this helps kind of working blind, but let me know :o

hi, have managed to find out that the carrycot will fit onto the raptor 3, razor 4, razor 4 spin so by that i would say the chassis are all the same size, so i would say 98% the car seat adaptors would fit, at the moment that is the best i can find, i am sure there is not a raptor 4 and may be you mean a razor 4

apart from the rally but this is more of a buggy type anyway. are they the adaptors that are on preloved you are after getting :o

right, i have found the carseat adaptors on a polish website and translated it says

not a great translate but it does say for raptor or razor so the chassis must be the same :o

I had one of those- sold it. Now got a maxi cosi as baby jogger is the car buggy- Herqules for walks etc

Reckon the shr baby safe is similar so daisybell may like to try that.

I must confess though that I have already been in touch with the preloved seller and she's putting the adaptors in the post to me - hope I haven't gazumped you Allthefires .

That is very interesting about the polish website - I wonder how old these ones are? I only ask because we were given a britax rock a tot car seat at the weekend (we know its history) but I don't know if its too old to fit. If the adaptors are the 'click and go' variety then we can always get a new seat.

Daisybell- absolutely not- I was just curious. Glad you got them on the way. Hopefully your rock a tot will fit and even better that it was free from a friend! I had the revised model on an old travel system. It was very easy to fit. Sold it though as hated travel system!

As I said I now have a new maxi cosi waiting for this baby and BJCM will be used in car.

Phew! Adaptors are in the post so I'm starting to get a bit excited We've just been offered a second britax seat (also history known) so it seems we may have options!

Am now stalking my village/friends for a baby to borrow....
