mine,a vigour 3,one of the first ones with the air tyres, did brilliantly in snow and on the forest tracks where we lived.

it was lovely, cant fault it aside from being slightly too bulky for around town, but still, not huge at all, nippy thing too, ahhh how i miss you vigour...

I have the vigour + with the hard tyres and it is brilliant in snow. We had snow so deep that I took the basket off and decided to see if it could cope, it came over all 3 wheels and up to the foot plate and bugger me it still went through with the front wheel fixed Shock.

They are so easy to push for something so big, so yes bugger for small shops but not as bad as say the quinny as the handle bars are the same width of the wheel iyswim.

FriggFRIGG - sorry for hijack how's the Micro? Am seriously thinking of one on my neverending quest for decent pushchair - big seat? Nippy? Basket enough for rucksack and get into easily? Push one handed whilst dragging ds along kicking andscreaming ds walks?

Thanks

b*

Do only the Vigour 3 come with air tyres on some models...I prefer 4 wheel buggies myself.

FriggFRIGG · 28/02/2011 11:45

yes,yes,yes,yes,yes!

the baskets big,it might be big enoug for a back pack although im not sure...but the's a nice big mesh pocket on the back, its big enough to fit all the clothes i take out for DS and DD,so i just shove nappys and wipe into the basket, the acsess is good IMO as you can get at it from both sides,it's lovely to push, nippy,i often push it one handed with DD 'walking' ,if i didnt want RF id defo keep it,its perfect in every other way.

oh the recline is enough foe DD to nap in,and the seat is HUGE!

not sure about the vigour 4's,but it'd be the older version if they did,the vigour+'s dont have air tyres.

FriggFRIGG · 28/02/2011 13:15

Oooooooooh it's lush. DD LOVES it, she climbed in and made me push her in the house. I made her get out for lunch and she cried, till I let her out to get back in. She finally relented to leave it alone and have lunch at 2.20pm. Grin

Is's so tiny compared to Vigour, and she seems really, really low down and big in it in comparison. However in reality she has loads of room, I'm really pleased.

I think the Vigour will still be used for my big walking pram and for wet rainy days. But the Bee now lives by the front door for popping out, school run, and trips into town on the bus / in the car. They coordinate really well as they are both red and black Wink

Grin i knew you'd love it,its the only buggy that ever came close to the vigour,it ticks all the same boxes in a totally different way Confused

and ive had 15...Blush

OP posts:
Honeydragon · 28/02/2011 19:50

I think

possibly

I've found the two

finding the one is a frankly ridiculous concept with prams. Grin

I now exactly what you mean about ticking the same boxes, it has all the ease of use and comfort, just tinier and lighter.

Financially, when I think the next best thing is the Zapp Xtra I'm glad I spent the extra £150, definitely worth it.

You'll like the Frog though.... they are lovely.
