And what do you think the damage will be?

About a grand???

I'd love one though.

thisisyesterday · 26/10/2010 16:33

haha yes there was a thread on this a while back

what a name

Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 16:40

Name-I know, and I am so not sold on that side basket thing.
Must be at least a grand! I reckon 1.1K inc footmuff!

Also the bottom of the seat frame is bare! Just asking for scratches. Also I haven't seen how it folds yet? Awful I am guessing.

I bet I end up getting one, certainly if I get upduffed lol

i don't think it'll be that much. no-one would be able to afford it.
i reckon £800 max

EnSuiteShed · 26/10/2010 16:47

I saw a normal Bugaboo Chameleon "Black" (whatever that is) in JL for £795 Shock

thisisyesterday · 26/10/2010 16:50

no... really? gosh, shows how out of touch i am then! i thought they were around £500-600

Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 16:53

Normal ones are £500-600 as usually offers on. Special Eds are more.
It is going to be awful priced as they are all saying investment piece!!

thisisyesterday · 26/10/2010 16:54

ahh well, if people are stupid enough to pay for it.... seems crazy to me!

Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 16:56

Resale value will be very good though, and the Cam and Bee + work so well :)

Luciex90 · 26/10/2010 17:06

Love it!

Would love one but I think it will hurt my pursestrings too much :( xx

scottishmummy · 26/10/2010 17:09

love it.iffy name though, but aye id buy that

nancydrewrocked · 26/10/2010 17:13

It actually gets wider Shock

With the special ed black bugaboo at £800 I reckon this will be £1300 if you have two seat units on it.

Frrrrightattendant · 26/10/2010 17:16

That is DREADful. Nobody could fit a baby into that pathetic little thing at the side Wink - and it's the least efficient storage for shopping I've ever seen.

oh, I see it is designed by a bloke. And marketed by someone who took the term 'saddlebags' forward sartorially, too.

(not criticising figure btw - only the trousers!)

It's just a disaster isn't it.

Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 17:21

1.3 Shock I will definitely not be getting it if it costs that much! Could get a car for that!

OP posts:
Frrrrightattendant · 26/10/2010 17:22

Mind you I loved the bit where they chucked it down the ramp Smile

Can you actually put two seats on it?

all in 74cm?

what is the point of the midway width with that basket on the side? Why not just duo or single.

NothereisnobodylurkingbehindU · 26/10/2010 17:27

I think it's quite clever. I expect the plan is for people to buy it for their first child and then just keep going with it, rather than people buying it when they need a double iyswim

Eglu · 26/10/2010 17:27

What an incredibly stupid name!

Frrrrightattendant, I'm assuming the stupid basket thing is because ut us too difficult to make it a proper single.

I have to say it's the first bugaboo I've really liked, particularly the tyres. The basket is stupid though. If they need to put a basket there to fill the gap, why not make it a decent size?

Agree the price will be massive.

Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 17:30

Thinking about the basket it would be good to put toys and amusing clobber for a toddler in. Also I think the wheels are fab! And I love that both seats rear face, definitely a pushchair to buy for first baby and then use for second as well.

OP posts:
Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 17:31

Although, the individual seats can't be that big if the whole pushchair is 74 cm.

OP posts:
scottishmummy · 26/10/2010 17:31

mere mention bugaboo get some all het up.only a pram not a significant lifechoice

Frrrrightattendant · 26/10/2010 17:32

LOL, you've all fallen for the marketing technique haven't you [hgrin]

They are very good at it

I like the cam, prefer the frog - hate the bee, with its tiny teeny wheels.

It's just a First wheels but sort of adaptable. Sort of. If they'd made it a proper single in single mode I'd have found that clever.

Purplebuns · 26/10/2010 17:36

Well, I have the Cam and the Bee + and LOVE both of them, so I was always going to be a sucker Wink

OP posts:
Frrrrightattendant · 26/10/2010 17:39

No offence intended, Purple Smile

scottishmummy · 26/10/2010 17:52
