In what way is it obscene? The decor? The size of the house?
If the latter, what is the maximum size a house can be before it becomes obscene?

It's not that some people can afford £25m for a house. It's that so many can't afford a home, are homeless, live in poor quality accommodation, children live in poverty.

You can appreciate a beautiful property whilst finding wealth inequality rather sickening.

It epitomises the British class system at its finest.

What about if housing was designated for everyone by family size.
Therefore a family with two children could live in a house with maximum four bedrooms and a family with no children could only have a property with two bedrooms.
However the square footage of 4 bedroomed houses varies a lot so I don’t know how the larger ones and the smaller ones would be designated.
Few families nowadays have 6 or more children so houses with 8 or more bedrooms would be divided up into flats.

I could live in it now with older kids but it’s not a great property if you’ve got a few younger ones

There's a Costa, a Turkish supermarket and a laundromat too! Not sure why pp was making it out like it is the middle of nowhere. Big Sainsbury's and Waitrose stores within 10 minutes' drive too.

I'm surprised at how few pictures there are. At least half are of the gardens! It does look beautiful though 😍

Ham has a big council estate not far from that house.

There used to be a summer fete in the gardens when I was a child. My mum was furious because my dad took us one year and we came home with two goldfish that he’d won.

As with all houses, ‘you have to see past the decor’, I couldn’t, there is too much of it.
