Should we ask buyers to pay for appliances, carpets and blinds?

We're (hopefully) moving and I've just been filling in all the details about what is and isn't included.

We have a range cooker (10yo but good), very new dishwasher, newish Miele washer and tumble dryer, wine fridge. We also have nice Roger Oates carpets and fitted blinds.

Should I be asking for money for any of this? I don't want any of it (except maybe the washer and dryer if the people we are selling from don't leave theirs). What's the norm?

I definitely take my wall light fittings with me. They were fucking expensive from Heals many years ago..... So never included. Ceilings lights too, as they came from Italy. We replaced them with something from B&Q though, so no bare wires. We generally leave everything else, no charge, who needs the faff. You can have my range cooker with the dead mouse in one of the ovens, and my worn carpets.

Beware though, it can reverse. If your buyer doesn't want something, you have to remove it, or you could be charged for removal.

If the appliances are built in I would expect them to be left. Likewise carpets should be left and I’d be pretty annoyed if the seller took them up. Blinds you can leave or take but I didn’t see how you can charge for them. Just make sure it’s clear what you are leaving and taking. In every house we have bought, cooker has been left, and dishwasher as they were built in (if the property had one). Washing machine we have always taken and there has never been one left here and never had a tumble dryer.
