What DIY have you done today?

Inspired by the lovely posters on the What have you done in the garden today threads.

I started removing loose, bubbling masonry paint from the front elevation at the weekend. It was quite therapeutic. Although, unfortunately the previous owner had the entire Georgian frontage painted with that awful textured sandtex stuff 😓

It's going to take forever to remove it all as it's quite a wide cottage (formerly two). Beneath the gritty paint there's evidence of cream (?) limewash and pale pink too, but in some areas it's exposed the brick. Not sure how it's going to end up - I'm just cursing the idiot who chose the textured finish! It's all over the window sills too 😡
