It is nice but very tiny! Is it to live in, holiday let, long term let....?

canyon2000 · 26/09/2025 11:58

Length of lease left would be important to know.

BCBird · 26/09/2025 11:58

Looks nice but very small.

LaurelBush · 26/09/2025 12:00

No outside space would put me off.

Meadowfinch · 26/09/2025 12:00

Frome is a nice place but not sure why anyone would holiday there.

It's a tiny flat, not much more than a stylish bedsit. OK for a single person on a low budget I guess. There's no parking, and a low EPC rating.

Hoppinggreen · 26/09/2025 12:01

Area looks a bit shit, garage next door etc

Yes large MOT garage right next to it so will be a fair amount of noise.

MiddleAgedDread · 26/09/2025 12:04

It's tiny, it's on a busy road, it's next to a garage, you'd bang your head on a beam every time you went for a wee in the night if you slept on the far side of the bed, it looks scruffy on the outside, it's very poky, and I'm struggling to find anything good to say about it I'm afraid! The bathroom is probably the best bit of it.

Chewbecca · 26/09/2025 12:06

Very nicely presented.
I wouldn't want to live on the top floor with all those beams and no parking but obviously it's reflected on the price.

First thing I was going to say, as said by others, right next to a car servicing garage.
Bedroom does not have a lot of head room.

Are you selling it or thinking of buying it ?
A not tall non driving female may like it.

I was interested in potentially air b n b ing it

( potentially buying it )

Market is slow atm though

Sale history available on right move

Could it be a bit over priced?

It would be hard to live in- you can only stand up in half of it. Ok for an Airbnb.

Chewbecca · 26/09/2025 12:15

It says it is currently being used as an Airbnb. Definitely looks more suitable for that.
Is it possible to find out how much occupancy and what the vendors have earned from it?
Don't forget tax on the earnings and all the other expenses and time needed to service the Airbnb.

DrySherry · 26/09/2025 12:20

It might do ok as an airb&b in that area but only for about 4 or 5 months of the year. I think it was overpriced when they bought it in 2021 at 106k. Its nice enough but not much more than a bedsit really. But then there was a lot of pricing madness around that period. Value wise I think it's worth a bit less than they paid now.

MiddleAgedDread · 26/09/2025 12:44

I wouldn't want to stay in it for a holiday!

fiorentina · 26/09/2025 12:51

Tiny with no storage. Fine for a night away but lot longer term.

DrySherry · 26/09/2025 12:54

I think it's ok for a cheap weekend break - for a couple - but yes it's not the kind of property that's likley to be booked solid. The lack of parking usually makes me look elsewhere first.

Cbamuch · 26/09/2025 12:55

It's going to be difficult to heat. I've never seen such a low EPC reading! There's obviously absolutely no insulation.

Epc is something i have no knowledge about

Its nicely finished but as pp have said it's small! What's on the ground floor?

The parking looks like it's probably a pain - unless it's permit parking on that road then cars from the garage next door will mpst likely take up all of the nearby road space. And lack of parking will probably dent its appeal as an AirBnB.

I'm elsewhere in the SW and I wonder if it's overpriced but I don't know Frome.
