I'm considering moving to live by the sea in Bournmouth, I like the cosmopolitan nature of the region with people who seem so at ease with themselves, yet erudite.... any comments?

Who describes themselves as 'a 66 female' anyway?

I mean if you are 66 years old isn't it practically compulsary to move to Chirstchurch ?

I would agree that the centre of Bournemouth, like many other town and city centres, is no longer a very nice place. But Southbourne and westbourne are both still very nice. Westbourne has a slightly older vibe. I’m a similar age to you OP and personally I’d choose Southbourne.

Has a Darfur vibe to it.

Come join us in Wareham. Way nicer than Bournemouth and you'll find so many people your age here who are really friendly. You'll find it easy to make friends and build a social life. Moving here was one of the best things I've done and we did it on a whim.
