What colour would you paint your kitchen if...

Your cupboard bases were a light wood colour and your cupboard fronts were mid grey?

I know, I hate it. It's awful but it was like this when we moved in and it's council so I can't put a new kitchen in.
I was considering putting new fronts on but I don't think anything else would actually look any better with the faux wooden backs.

Tiles are white and am going to put new tiled floor in (colour suggestions welcome too)

You could try swapping the handles (for either wood, or brass/copper colour if you don't fancy wood) first and see if that helps? Ia with a pp that it's quite a warm grey - I don't think it looks bad. Our kitchen is a lighter grey/beige with wooden handles and we have light pink/mauve walls. It sounds pretty dreadful when I type it out, but it looks good!

I really can't live with it for the next decade
Money isn't an issue (well within the budget to replace the fronts) so I'd rather just do that

What colours are the walls? I would make the bases and walls match and go for something colourful, I'm over neutrals.
