The cost of bringing this house up to date.

This house

Thinking of moving into the Ecclesbourne School catchment area from the South East of England, how much do you think it would cost to bring this house up to date for my family of three primary aged dc, plenty of other houses on the market in the area but I really want to keep chickens and this garden is perfect.

I’m not a fan of wallpaper and nor red carpet but really don’t see that that the house needs “updating”. Maybe I’m showing my age?

Personally feel it’s better to find a house you like more than updating not only because it makes financial sense (though that probably isn’t a concern at that kind of price) but not great for environment to change stuff which is still usable.
