No viewings in two weeks

My house has been on the market for two weeks and I've not had a single viewing- one was booked but he cancelled 10 minutes before he was supposed to come.

It's on at 20k less than I had it on for 15 months ago and I had loads of viewings then but ultimately it wasn't the right time for me to move so I took it off market.

I've added a rightmove link:

It's always the price. I think it's a really tough market atm (well it is round here). There is no reason why this will get much better or that house prices will go up so I would go in low and just try and get a sale (I did this earlier in the year and had a sale in a few weeks). That is if you can afford to and didn't buy recently. Round here most houses are reducing price and still hanging around for 6 months plus.

weird house front angle needs a bit of pizzazz maybe some hanging baskets garden looks a bit bland low work yes but not very cheerful. again some flowers in pots maybe if it is a family home make it look a bit more child friendly more rather than just hard ungiving flag stones
bedrooms look a bit crowded esp the wardrobes which seemed crammed in people dont want to think place is desperate for space
a lot of grey and black bit of colour

Good luck with your viewing. To my mind it's about 20k overpriced on asking - and from there you may still need to negotiate. However it's always possible you may get lucky and it ticks all the boxes for someone who has the funds. Fingers crossed. It's a nice enough little house.

Just put a plain curtain over the front of the open wardrobe to hide your stuff. Curtains can be a good option in a small room, doors need more space to open, so that’s the rationale. Take the door hangers down as well as the stuff that normally hangs on them, they are a dead giveaway.

What are the weird row of things in the kitchen? Are they hooks or notice boards or some sort of kitchen gadgetry which I am too out of touch to understand?

that kitchen would be a total dealbreaker for me. Odd layout, with only base units - assume if you've got a fridge freezer and washing machine hidden behind what's there, there must be room to store about a box of cereal, a tin of beans and that's your lot. Understand that with all those doors and needing access to stairs and bathroom etc, it's a nightmare room to even try and put units on the walls in a normal manner, but that's why it becomes a "don't touch this house" rather than a "just refit the kitchen".
Agree also that bathroom tiles look unevenly laid with discoloured grout and kitchen doors are sagging, with some unfinished bits of wall, so it looks very DIYed which sets off my "this house is not in the good condition the paint finishes would suggest" alarms.
