Same - cost required to get it ready for market unpalatable - and then add to that - finding tradesmen to do the work 🤯

I now understand how old people end up rattling around in dilapidated houses that no longer suit their needs.

A kitchen that looks like it was an after thought of when they built the place. As though someone went oh fuck we forgot to make room for the kitchen. I know we'll stick it in this tiny space over here!
1 conservatory and I suppose you could count the space in the living room which is a door on the back wall and a room about 3ft by maybe 6ft. It serves it's purpose as somewhere to put my freezer and microwave and for storing a shit load of carrier bags and gold knows what other junk.
Then on the back of that but outside is what I'm guessing was back in the day a coal bunker is an outdoor storage space which has my washing machine inside it. It has its perks I can put a wash on late at night or early in the morning and not have to worry about the neighbours. Not that I have anyone next door to me atm but the perks soon wear off when it's pissing it down and I have to go outside and get soaked whilst getting the washing out the washing machine.
