Don’t they just unroll their bedding on the scullery floor? (Apparently they quite often did sleep in the kitchen in middle-class houses in Victorian England, in smaller houses where there wasn’t space for a servant’s bedroom, but the family had enough income to keep a maid of all work.)

Symphony830 · 08/07/2024 13:10

4 beds
x2 lounges
x2 kitchen
dining room
x2 bathrooms
x1 shower room
x2 wash rooms (toilet)
Utility Room
x3 Study

I literally use x2 beds, kitchen, lounge, bathroom, toilet room, study as it’s just my son and I.

Bought as two flats many years back. The downstairs has been used on many occasions by friends and family as temp accommodation/ storage. Originally thought I’d convert back into one house but the truth is it’s a dusty Victorian and it’s a full time job keeping the top half clean. I get bad vibes off the downstairs too so rarely venture in.

Cancermummy · 08/07/2024 13:30

5 (not counting the hallway)

Living room
Kitchen
