I have no clue what to do with the front of this house, any ideas?

I've attached images with identifying info removed and nc just in case..

I can take away the green bin but not the black one. I'm thinking maybe a lighter blind? Roman one? (there's a black Venetian but you can't see it). Maybe a little wreath for the door? If I move the bin I can plant something in that space.

I just absolutely do not know what to do it looks horrible, please help if you can.

Many thanks in advance.

It looks great! Would you mind sharing how you removed the black staining from the windowsills?

Thanks

Great work - made a real difference already.

Sprayed with ‘wet and forget’ and left for a few days. Wasn’t seeing much difference so scrubbed with a bucket of soapy water. Dirt came off almost effortlessly, took minutes, so think spraying first helped.

I would build a bin store and then line up a lot of pretty planted tubs along the front - hopefully they will grow big and bushy to disguise all the unities there, but you can still move them out the way when you need access to the meters.

@nc1806 Thanks so much for replying. Can't believe how much of a difference in the sill. It looks new! 🙂

I thought this was a lost cause but it does look quite a bit better.

I would probably grow bushes in front of the services and trim them back to allow access, which should not be required much anyway if you are on a smart meter.

That looks nice and neat now. Love the wreath, do you mind me asking where you got it from please.

Looking at it again to the right of the shrub and towards the front of the soil part (so it's directly infront of the white pipe and the light gray box towards the ground on the left of the door) you could plant a mini-box hedge.

like this

one it had grown you could trim it into a squared-off cube or mini hedge.

It would look very smart if it had linear edges and would totally conceal those two utility things.

Dwarf Box Hedging Plants - Buxus Microphylla Rococo Hedges - Dwarf Box Hedge

Buy Dwarf Box hedging plants from Hopes Grove Nurseries. Buxus microphylla 'Rococo' is an excellent compact variety with better disease resistance.
