Black Or White Log Burner Stove

We’ve decided to get a multi fuel stove in the living room.
I’d like a white one to make it seem more posh/fancy in the living room, but husband prefers the black ones. Can anyone tell me if the white ones begin to discolour after a while, or is my husband just trying to put me off to get his own way!
Also, as I’ve never had this type of stove in a house before, are they as good as every one claims they are?

20% is a lot, but to voluntarily make your own home the worst affected is what I find weird.

Ok, got it lightswerve. This isn’t actually a thread about whether wood burners are evil or not.

I am in the market right now and have my eye on this Pacific Energy in Ivory colour with metallic black trims. I think it looks amazing but hesitant, thus the reason I got to come to this site... I am still considering...

I ended up going with a black one, mostly because husband was dead against a white one, and there was limited choice for white. Quite happy with black now to be honest
