We're looking to create a kitchen diner/lounge. The room at the top which is called Lounge will not be touched. It will be our separate chill space. We're ok with the kitchen diner space but the three areas to the right are a massive headache! We're in need of help figuring out best use of space. Thanks.

Ah hang on just looked at your visualisation and see TV is on the door wall, so sofa is facing it? But then, where do armchairs go.

It's a 4m by 3m space.... There's room lol. Plus the 4m by 3m dining space in front in addition to the kitchen.

I'm just intrigued as to what is going in the "utility room" if the laundry stuff lives in the garage...

Lesser user baking supplies, pantry, lesser used oven trays etc and tupperware. Things like the blender, jam jars, ironing board, iron, carpet cleaner, array of bleaches. The usual.

You are using that sofa as a wall to block out the space so the walkway is only along that side wall to the door so for the dining area its as easy to go around the wall than vis the seating area
The door opens in to the space against the back wall so that is unusabe. And closing the door will not end up being a priority as you are not enclosing the space.
Then you need to not bump into anything going out the door or coming around from the side wall so you cant place a long unit against that wall.

I think you need to look at the pathways that will develop if you move the sofa to different areas or swaped the dining and seating areas
How you would seat guests and work in the kitchen area etc

I like a nice sunny sofa and think the table is in the best spot in the room but even with good seats its use will be food and homework/WFH.

Decided to block the random doorway. So now there's just one door.
