Shower over bath or just a shower?

We are renovating our home having moved in a year ago. It’s just the two of us. There is one bathroom which has a wall in shower toilet and sink and no bath. Which is fine for us - I miss a bath maybe once a month when I’m tired and just wish I could get into one. But otherwise it’s fine. However, if we ever sell would not having a bath put people off?
what would you do?
there is no space for a separate shower cubicle sadly,

It’s a tough one. I adore baths and take them nearly every night (grey water system so not environmentally ruinous), but I don’t like showers over baths, as they feel a bit makeshift, and I don’t like clambering in and out (when I had a CS, I simply couldn’t step over the bath side for weeks, which is probably what first turned me off them…) Friends with a tiny bathroom space have installed a Japanese bath, which is very compact, if that’s a possibility?

I think people underestimate how much water a power shower uses. Who uses anything other than a power shower these days

Shower over bath gets my vote. If shower is faulty bath is back up. Even if you don’t like having a bath a Bath is good for soaking washing when washing machine is faulty. Litter ones bath time is so much fun. How big are baby baths these days

Being the only bathroom, shower over bath would be a good option, particularly when you come to resell.

Shower over bath.
Do you shave your legs? Use a hair treatment after washing it? Sometimes use an exfoliating treatment whilst in the shower? The extra space for occasional products around a bath and the ability to cock your leg up on the edge to shave are big pluses.
Do you colour your hair? Do you sometimes wash your hair at a different time to washing your body? Both easier with a shower over the bath.
Also if you have something big to wash or soak, the bath comes in handy (I soak my blinds in the bath on their yearly wash).
Are you likely to have a dog? It'll need bathing, it's not fun getting into a shower cubicle with a dog.
Are children on the horizon (note I put the dog before the child!). Much easier to have a bath.

No bath here in our 2 bathroom house. Redid our main bathroom recently and removed bath and put in a walk in shower. Not had a bath in 34 years so figured would just do what we want rather than worry about reselling when we plan to live her for a long long time. A house is for living in.

I would only buy a house with a bath, mainly because I have small children x

I'm hearing a lot of people say they just put a baby bath in the shower and then take kids into the shower with them when older. I don't know many people who have time for a bath plus the cost of all the hot water and you can't wash your hair very easily 😬
