Moving to north Wales?

We are considering moving to north Wales.
We are going to check out some areas next weekend, and were wondering where is nice to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Bangor?
We would want to be further east than Bangor, and preferably near the coast.

Wondering where you have seen all the scallies! You have younger people out for a night out acting lary all over the country! Have lived here for 7 years ( in wrexham borough) and never seen any behaviour like that!

Llandudno and Conwy would be my choices to move to. Just bear in mind that there is some talk of Welsh independence on the up...It probably won't ever happen, as they will more than likely be out voted. It's just something to consider that you might have a property somewhere that you could potentially need a visa to remain there...
