Does anyone have a LVT floor in a kitchen or dining room?

What do you think of it? Is it tough enough without being too plastic? Where did you get it from? Thanks!

Polyflor Camaro here and it's pretty much bombproof. Have it all throughout other than bedrooms. Is glued down on ply.

Not a fan personally. Too much like vinyl. Although it seems like the market leading hard floor and we are stumped about what else to get for a ground floor including kitchen. Can’t find a fitter willing to install click bamboo. So not sure if we will have no choice but to get this LVT.
‘Too much like vinyl’ But it IS vinyl 🙄

Just finished a reno and looked at lvt as builders recommended it. Personally I didn’t like it. Too plasticky looking and feeling. Went for engineered oak instead. Love it.

@Kitkat151 yeah, I realise that. But it’s ‘luxury’ ! I mean it’s too much like sheet vinyl in appearance. I don’t buy the hype tbh.

Polyflor Georgian Oak in my hallway, dining room and kitchen - I live in a single track so carpet just got filthy. I love my flooring.

Has anyone got it in a space that gets lots of sun? We're about to do an extension with large sliding doors/ roof lights etc that is south facing and I've read about fading in this kind of space?

We have Amtico stick down in kitchen diner and conservatory.
Been down 9 years and looks like new.
No fading.
I use a steam mop.

We have amtico spacia in a v similar extension and it still looks like new 2 years in. We do have blinds on the velux windows and a blind above the bifolds (not on) and no blind on a floor to ceiling feature window. No regrets so far.

I’ve had Karndean through the whole downstairs for 8 years and it still looks perfect. The only slight wear you can see is where the dining chairs are but it’s not bad and I think you can get some special Karndean product to improve that. It came from a flooring place and professional fitters fitted it (stick down) and it was well worth it. They cut it round the door architraves etc and it is absolutely perfect. The first week it went down we had a leak in the downstairs toilet and it was fine. Also one board warped where it met a walnut end panel to the kitchen. The flooring guy came and heated it up with a heat gun and it went back down perfectly. I definitely recommend it!

Thanks @campion and @TrashyPanda that's reassuring!

We have Amtico, it's fantastic. You must get it fitted properly (this is what bumps the price up) ours is from John Lewis. Watch out for fitters who say they will do it cheaper by not using the Amtico glue etc. Wash with the Amtico wash (lasts ages) or mild soapy water. Not a steam cleaner as this can melt the adhesive. Ours looks as good as the day it went down 9 years ago.

We had Amtico Spacia down in my last property. Looked fab, was laid in herringbone pattern with a border everyone who visited commented how amazing it looked, however, if I got it again it would get the smooth finish (not textured) as dirt could become trapped in the 'wood' grain texture.

Also it was much much warmer underfoot than tiles or wood/laminate, plus it was quiet to walk on.
