Decision fatigue...bedroom wallpaper edition!

We're 6 months into a renovation project which has been pretty much non stop since we moved in and with that, home schooling, working full time and lockdown I think I've finally cracked. Everyone was really helpful when I was asking about kitchen colours a while ago and I'm really pleased with it now, but am at the point where I really don't know if I can make another decision.

Sadly the builders don't care about that and are starting on my bedroom next week building a wall in a long thin room to make a separate dressing room and then redecorating. I need to order paint and wallpaper this weekend.

I've attempted a couple of mood boards and these include furniture I've already got so am not totally starting from a blank slate. I would like a feature wall (I think) even though it's not the done thing but I will be picking out the background colours for the paint on the rest of the walls IYSWIM.

I'm just totally stuck with what to go with, any thoughts/comments would be gratefully accepted!

Gorgeous room @SollaSollew. Love the soft pink and green and I like panelling personally!

Baxdream · 01/04/2021 20:31

Beautiful!! I love panelling so ignore any haters.

What colour have you painted it, it's stunning?

HumourReplacementTherapy · 01/04/2021 21:01

It looks beautiful OP!
I love panelling, don't take any notice of the haters! It looks gorgeous.

You clearly have good taste OP. There's no point listening to design advice on MN as you'll always end up watering things down to the lowest common denominator. Go with what you love. Although I totally hear you on the decision fatigue, it starts to set in at that point in the project where you most need the energy to focus on the fine details. Anyway, it looks lovely - enjoy it!
