It looks a really nice house. I would put something simple but decorative in the downstairs windows. Then I'd go bold with the front garden, with three small trees in big pots, about 2 metres apart in a triangle shape. Maybe a standard willow (Salix), dwarf fruit tree or similar. The house is big and chunky so loads of small pots would look fiddly and odd. Alternatively you could go for 'architectural' plants with bold structures. I'd also paint the garden gate white gloss and get rid of the cheap looking net curtains.

You can take pot plants with you when you move 🙂
