Is my new kitchen boring?

After multiple threads and lots of advice/opinions we sent off our final kitchen design a few weeks ago. We ordered the last bits this morning which was just our taps. I'm not sure whether it's just nerves but I'm really doubting myself. I wanted to keep it neutral and warm with the logic we can add colour through plants and accessories, and by painting the walls.

Then I saw a gorgeous picture of a navy kitchen with oak worktops and brassy taps/handles and I loved it. I'm now worried my kitchen is really boring and meh. I really wanted to get it right. Do I phone up and see if it's too late to change and return some things? Or is it just nerves and I should leave it as is?

I'm the most indecisive person in the world, apologies if you've seen my many threads over the past few months and couldn't care less about my kitchen BlushGrin

*I'd be delighted with it

I like the updated plan op.

Love the updated plan @YellowEllis.

The oak laminate colour is gorgeous, as are the units - nice, classic pale colour that should work with everything and not date. While I'm not usually a big fan of metro tiles, they look nicer done in this herringbone pattern. The Emerald wall also sounds cool/interesting too (and can be easily repainted if you ever get bored with it in future.)

A navy kitchen will date very quickly. For resale it is better that its practical and not dated.

You've got a blank canvas and you can add bits of colour as you choose. I've got a tiny kitchen with mid grey paint and white cupboards in the house I've just bought, and it's excellent because I can stuff from my last home and it all looks ok. I also keep bowls of fruit and veg out to add colour and I've got a couple of pictures to go up. The navy kitchens may look nice - for about a year, until everyone's got one.
