is this house really worth it?

so ive been looking for a while for a house and have noticed a very similar thing where alot of people buy a house do it up but then only a few years later expect a ridiculous amount for it!
this house was a little dated but they brought it in 2016 for £230k
have house prices gone up this much in 4 years?

ill be the first to admit i think the house is beautiful but not £535k beautiful.

I agree with PP that they’ve ripped the heart and soul out of the garden, where have all the trees gone 😢

i agree with the garden comment. the old garden has a real feel to it with all the trees and shrubs.

It’s beautiful and where I live that would easily go for 800-a million.
Location is important, houses are ridiculously expensive here
